In the overview settings, it gives me the option to display the pilot's name as well as, in parentheses, the ship type. I've selected the "ship type" option. But all I see on the overview is the player ship icon (the four little carets) plus the player's name. I can add columns for transversal velocity, size, etc., but it doesn't seem possible to display "Playername (Battlecruiser)," which is what I want. Am I missing something? I know I can get the ship info by right-clicking, but with lag etc, that adds a few seconds, which can make a big difference.
I'm hardly a new player, but I didn't know where else to ask this question, and no one on the Help channel seemed to know. Apologies if I have the wrong forum.

Checking this box does not make the ship type show up in the overview, but on the ships' 'label' in space. So when you click on the ship in space, it will have player name [corp]<alliance>(ship type).

Thanks. I guess that's better than nothing; I was just hoping for something immediately visible on the overview.

Meh. From a role-playing perspective it doesn't make much sense that you cannot display the ship type in your overview. With all the technology, you'd think it would be simple. But there it is....
