I got a new scam for you.
I sold an infinite copy for Ospreys using the escrow system.
Calleb of Brotherhood Cartel (VICI) bought it.
A week later an GM iniated a refund transaction with no warning or discussion.
In other words someone bought a unlimited copy, used it for however logn they needed it, then cried some bull**** story to a GM and got a refund.

another thing i have found is ppl trying the old scam of trying to sell rookie ship and shuttles as Battleships, do any of them know that this a banable offence

i have seen a few ppl now that have saved there isk to buy there first Battleship then find out they have just bought a 60 Million dollar shuttle 
now i know they should do the inspect goods, but if we can inspect the goods and see the scams why cant the dev's go through the escrows every now and then and pick out the scammers as they stick out like dogs *****
i mean what hasnt the concord police have a fraud squad

Titanau, it's not nice when the system is abused to con someone out of isk when there is no way of truely telling if the item being bought is what is exactly what was stated.
When this thread was started the escrow system was flaud, no one would denign that but it has become a much better version of itself. The chances of scams are getting less with each change and I think it's at a point where it's almost not possible.
(earlier in the thread the '-' and '-1' idea has now been changed to better reflect what is being bought!)
The system even states (in red font) that if you think your buying something when it's actually nothing it'll come up. This window shows you exactly what your buying. The fact is now that no matter what i'm buying wheather 10,000 isk or 10mil isk I am wary of what i'm buying and to not be scamed.
To try and answer a question for the Dev's it can't be possible to do what they do and monitor the ecrow deals, there are FAR to many of them and I'd rather thier focus be on improving aspects of the game most want implemented. Especially after their recent efforts to change escrow, I dought there will be any more for a while.
Like I said at the start, it's not great to be fleeced like your friend but there will always be those that wish to use 'non-conventional' means to acquire isk. It just means you have to be extra vidulent.

To answer the question "Why can't I see the item/items that I just put in escrow under the show all option?" Well, I have noticed, and the devs can confirm or deny this, that under "show all" the max time remaining is ~3 days, which leads me to believe that due to the overwhelming volume of items in escrow, there is a first-in-last-out priority. This means, that those items not yet sold on escrow that have been in escrow the longest, gain priority listing on the show all list. I tried to jump the queue by setting my escrow at 3 days, but it did not list in show all  . I then waited 4 days, checked again, and it was in the show all list. So continue to place your escrows in for 7 days, and after ~4 they will be viewable in the show all list.  You will have to advertise the actual region/station until then to get any faster results.

View merchandise works fine for me in Escrow, and gives a list of all the items in a particular escrow entry. Its usually just one item, but some people create escrow entries that are a bundle of several items or BPs.
To see more details, just drag the edge of the window out where you get the list of items and it should show the full details for BPs.
If you right-click on the item in that list and select view item, all you get is the normal market entry for the item. With BPs, this will just be the volume.
Vuohi, sounds to me like you are drilling down one level too many before you are trying to resize.

I havent played Eve in 8 months and the escrow biz is confusing me.. where do u check for escrowed sales? I didnt see anything come up under the market button..
I am interested in a Typhoon BPC

I also am confused on escrow. I also have returned after 6 months. Why would I ever use escrow? Why dont ppl just put these items on the market to sell? What makes escrow different than the market?

not all items can be sold on the normal market - like blueprint copies..They have to be sold in trade channel or escrow.. You can also make the escrow only avaiable to one named player. like if the buyer dont have the money right now, or you cant wait for him to get to the station youre selling the item(s), you can put it there. When he claims the escrow he pays.

This thread is out of date. Now when inspecting the escrow you see if the BPC is an original or a copy, and the correct number of runs.

Escrow need a search function. It seems like to find what you are looking for, you have to right click on every escrow entry which can be tedious.
If there is an easier way to find exactly what you are looking for please reply and put me straight
