Someone is trying to sell Tech1 Blackbird Cruisers via Escrow with a label that suggests it is a Tech2 ship - if an item is Tech2 it will have the Roman Numeral "II" in the upper left corner - see a Miner 2 for how this will look. It is very unlikely there will be any Tech2 ships in-game much before the middle of February if even by then... after just 2 weeks there can't possibly be any Tech2 cruisers in-game !

Always show info on the item you're buying.
Assuming, of course, that you can do that via an escrow mission. If you can't, don't buy non-repackaged items via escrow.

From the looks of it, the elite ships have completely different names... and you can indeed inspect the contents of escrow missions. |

Yeah theres alot of people tryig to cheat the escrow system here. Lets not forget the one labeled ME:10 Megathron original for sale. Inspect the item and find 1 tritanium.

Also seen a 'Tech2 Thorax' for sale for 80mil on Escrow, and yes it's a scam. Just by checking the details you can see its no different. But hey, this is from a guy who paid 8mil for a shuttle on xmas-eve. I was feeling generous!!!!!

another nice one i have seen is advertising for a skill to increase number of reserch agents (not in game yet a.f.a.i.k.). info shows it as "laboratory operation"

And what is this worth? I think I got some of this, or something very similar. I just tossed it in a secure can with the rest of the drigs I get from missions untill theya re worth something. Is this stuff worth anything right now?

no, this thread is about escrow scams..
someone was selling 1 viral agent pretending it was a rare item.
its a trade item on the market...very cheap
