What ships is generally better for pvp solo and small gang, a Vagabond, Sleipnir or an Astarte?

For sole pvp Sleipnir or vaga, less chance of getting killed in a vaga since you can just mwd away from anyone to big, and the sleipnir can just kill about anything.
Astarte, wouldent use it for solo, in fact its just a small megathron, except it can tank, i is also very capable of solo'ing just not compared to the 2 mentioned before

Vaga and Sleip give you better control over when and what to engage. Astarte is pretty slow.

I've always thought the Sleipnir to be a most tastey ship. Why I haven't trained minmatar cruiser to 5 ...... I can't answer that one. Its on the list of things I should have sone years ago lol.
Sleipnir! Well versatile ship. Its dronebay sucks i think but hey where you'll be going... you won't need drones

also add the deimos to that list.. deimos /ishtar are sexysexies.

I got minin cruiser to 5 and I can fly command ships, but Im still training gallente cruiser to 5 to get my hands on an Eos.

The Astart is truly scarry when it gets into web range, with Warp to 0 and the way a lot of combat in EvE happens, more oftain then not, warp in and one burst from your MWD means you are in the sweet spot - and thats where the Astart will simply knock you down.
They are truly amazing ships whereas every mid slot you devote to your tank on a selph is a slot you can't fit a web or scram on. . .

Yeah.. but on a sleipnir you got 20k range with barrage, so a web isn't really that needed. A MWD and t2 disruptor and your fine.

No, it dosen't suck because you got a huge falloff. Just orbit at 15k and there's no reason to fit a web, unless your stopping targets from crawling back to the gate.

Go for it and max out your support skills.. that`s what i`m doing 
Vaga is soo nice for solo.. but with a command you don`t need to be too picky with the targets. Can kill about anything.
And it`s about the same price as a Vaga with rigs...

It's minmatar all the way and throw some other races recons in the mix and some cruise ravens .
When I see "MATAR= Might As Well Train Another Race", it just makes me laugh...

Sleipnir ftw.
With its native resists and built in boost amp all it needs for a tank is a booster, injector and invuln field.
That leaves space for............... MWD and disrupter.
Then a coueple of overdrives, a few poly carbons, couple of gyros and zoooooooooooooooom pew pew pew
