Edited by: Ankh on 03/01/2004 01:16:51 Remember the days when you had noob frigates scattered in stations all over the Galaxy and you had to 'eject and dock' to create a new one so you could go and pick up a ship you'd just bought? Well I found myself doing the same thing again today.
The reason? npc shuttles have suddenly disappeared from my home station. This neat, omnipresent solution to a previous problem in EVE has been removed for some reason, probably sacrificed to the great god of the market economy. Perhaps the Devs have forgotten why shuttles were introduced in the first place?
Yeah, I know agents give them out now... I have over 60, stuck in a place where no-one needs them.

People using them to go pick up new ships that aren't indies? Anyone who needs a cheap scout ship or transport to buy some skills?

Edited by: Ankh on 03/01/2004 01:35:33 Hmmm, Take frigate to a station to pick up new ship. Return to home station with new ship, leaving the frigate there. Take indy to pick up frigate, return with frigate in indy's hold.
Personally, I prefer the one return trip using a shuttle or noob frigate on the outward leg.

For the love of all this is good. Our corp has hundreds of Shuttles in our hangers. PLEASE take some or buy them at reduced prices or something. ---------------------------------------

That's freaky, or looks it to me: I've been buying shuttles all over the shop in the last few days, and yet to find ANY station that doesn't have an NPC stock. Unless they literally just went out in the last few hours... or maybe I'm just bizarrely lucky.

Could be regional thing; ran into area where the only shuttles available were a few priced at 10-50 mil. There was also no frigates. Someone has lots of spare cash and tries to monopolize market, i guess ;s

I stole all the shuttles . I need them to fulfill the role of intergalactic ballistic missile...everything else is too slow, expensive or short range . _______________________________________________________________________

Currently my loadout for the shuttles is as follows (This is your Make-An-IGBM-At-Home guide): 1 Guidance System 1 Miniature Electronics 1 Electronic Parts 4 Viral Agents 1 Toxic Waste 1 Uranium 1 Plutonium All fairly easy to get your grubby hands on for your taste of galactic terrorism. However, I am considering dropping some of the payload (plutonium, viral agents, etc...) in favour of nuclear reactors etc...unfortunately they're listed under "Construction components" and are significantly harder to get hold of. Oh and you may find this interesting. And this. _______________________________________________________________________

If the corporation owning the station doesn't supply them (Market Activities tab), you won't find an NPC supply there.
At least, taht's what I'd expect. __________________________________________________________________________ May I recommend a Cybernetic Subprocessor?.. That's an intelligence implant, sweetheart.
