I wasn't there at the very beginnig of Eve, alas, but several months later.
Anyhoo, I've seen my fair share of what Eve has to offer, the politics, the wars, the events hosted by our fair Devs over the years, more exploding Jovian's would be nice btw :P
I've fought Bob, and had a lot of fun doing it, they are a powerful, no denying it, but on the flip slip, i've flown along side them in gangs fighting god's knows who.
That's what makes Eve Online great, not so much that alliances rise and fall, as they have done throughout the past 4 years, but the journey of playing the game and seeing how the politics have changed and evolved into what we have today.
There has been much hatred on many sides of all the battles fought, but as a player of the game, i've come to realise that Eve Online is just that, a game and anything else that might spill over is just nonsense.
Happy birthyday Eve, it has been a roller-coaster ride and just keep the fun running

I think this thread is a good opportunity to take off my forum boxing gloves for a second and say
Congrats and happy-B day Evolution.
BoB, and especially Evolution have achieved a lot.
Ok, second is over, boxing gloves are back on...
Someone in another thread said many vets want to be with other vets and thus are in BoB.
Those vets who want a real challenge were, are, and always will be fighting against BoB instead - until there is no more B-days for BoB.
