The spirit of NMTZ still burns brightly. We have been silent the past couple weeks due to a large restructuring of leadership as well as stripping the 'deadwood' so to speak from the alliance. Elsebeth Rhiannon, one of the leading voices of the alliance diplomatic staff, was known to speak for us here. Gradient has since returned to their original alliance, Electus Matari, seeking new paths as well as strengthening our friendship with this ally. Our ways can be most embodied by the phrase "seen but not heard", in that our members speak relatively little on Galnet, instead choosing to spend time more wisely in pod. The real power behind NMTZ stays silent but is embodied by the CEOs of member corporations as well as our executor. The restructuring movement has resulted in the following staff of pilots: Pacal Balan - Alliance Executor DuPuy - Defense Secretary, Fleet Commander Molly Maloney - Logistics Command Rawk Awn - Head NMTZ Diplomat
That being said, our membership has been recently pared down to approximately 200 members; we removed several inactive corporations as well as corporations not participating in alliance operations. We have also lost a couple corporations to 0.0 ambitions. This has left us with a relatively small but fierce fighting force defending our territory. NMTZ current operations are now fully occupied in the fight against pirates and INFOD in Molden Heath, the area which we call home.
NMTZ publishing Through the efforts of our pilots we have recently launched the first issue of the alliance magazine, Burn. It is a window into Molden Heath, NMTZ and the fight against piracy. There is also room for light humor and, of all things that a pod pilot needs, a crossword puzzle. Don't miss it, you can download your own PDF version here
Keep your eyes open for the second issue, due out soon.
War Status Yes, we still have an active CONCORD war with INFOD; daily, heavy fighting is taking place on both sides. We continue this fight through a CONCORD-sanctioned war not because we must, for most of INFOD's active membership falls below -5 in security status; we continue it to show our determination against piracy of any shape or form. Any other corporation that chooses to pirate in Molden Heath can expect the same treatment.
INFOD as a corporation is almost the size of NMTZ and easily outstrips our number of combat pilots, yet they still call in the help of other alliances in the area such as CoW and Anarchy Empire, who we have seen daily actively helping INFOD in Molden Heath as well as the nearby Great Wildlands. We also target these entities when they are seen flying with INFOD pilots. We in turn rely on our own allies for assistance: Foundation, -EM- and 5th Column, who can also be seen actively fighting this darkness. However even with the support of our allies, INFOD fleets set up daily camps on the stargates to Teonusude and high-sec space with upwards of 20 pilots or more, killing all innocent neutrals who pass through. INFOD poses a threat not only to NMTZ, but to the entire safety of the region; we encourage those who also live in Molden Heath to stand fast, and exercise extreme caution when traveling through these areas, especially in the timeframes between 18:00 and 24:00 EVT (EVE time).
We choose to fight INFOD on our own terms. We do not attempt to throw insufficient numbers of ships at them in vain; instead we pick our battles to our advantage, not theirs. The strategic circumstances of this war are tough, as INFOD loves their Blob...however they are not unbeatable. Even in the face of such a large force, we will not stand down; we have adapted and are growing stronger through each engagement. Take this as a rally to join forces: if you feel the same as we do and want to fight this scum, contact our diplomatic officers for membership or standings. Now is the time to fight!

We started this war, we believe in it and we are fighting harder now more than ever before. NMTZ is far from weak; we are now stronger than ever, if not in numbers, then with our courage. We will continue to fight against pirates and other enemies of freedom, with further CONCORD sanctions if necessary. Join us in battle, and together we will drive this scourge from the region.

I would suggest then that you improve the quality of your internal communications.
The number of your membership who have appeared to be getting themselves in difficulty in Molden Heath in the last couple of days would appear to indicate that they are operating in ignorance of your new campaign.

Upon my return from the Blood Wars I have had the pleasure of leading the Paratwa Ka into battle once again, not against the Empire this time, bit pirates murdering and killing my own brethren inside the Republic. During the war with INFOD if has been my fortune to lead such a group of skilled Matari fighters of the Ka. Alongside the brave warriors of NMTZ we, the Ka, have managed a significant kill efficiency level (80% eff) over the the darkened forces OF INFOD. I salute you all.
Now a new era is upon is with the merging of the Paratwa corps. We shall continue to grow, hone our skills and take the fight to the enemies of the Matari people.

Fact: Since wel left CA (2 months ago) we have made 2795 kills of wich
335 BS 340 BC 11 Carrier 1 Dread
Just in molden heath , the region you hold so deer! seriously your 80% efficiancy of a total of 3 bs kills meen nothing against those numbers.

Edited by: Souvera Corvus on 06/05/2007 15:56:14 The thing I find puzzling, outside of the appearance of deer in Molden Heath, is the occurrence of kills attributed to NMTZ on your own killboard when you claim they are so shy when it comes to undocking.
Someone would appear to be shooting at you but then you are the self trumpeted "Bringers of Hatred" so you shouldn't be too surprised.

Your stats are meaningless and out of context in terms of the war against NMTZ. You also conveniently don't post your losses. I could throw out statistics which would throw your propoganda to the wind but I hope you shall forgive me if I don't want to get caught up in INFOD forum wars.

we have had quite a few fun fair fights IMO, though for about a month now there have been no good fights with the "defenders of molden heath" this atleast from our POV. And since we were never interested in Molden Heath's riches, just the loot and plunder we have moved on to kill elsewere.

We live to pirate and plunder. Aslong as we had fun, and prevail in our fleetbattles i am content.
Molden Heath didnt give us many battles anymore so we decided to move for that reson. We never had any other goals then to kill as many (non blue) people as possible.
Its only to be expected that the roleplayers think they will have won now. All i can say is, get bigger again, get stronger, get a few very nice Fleetcommanders. We will be back sometime
Personal Opinion:
In the beginning INFOD only had a fleet of 5 people and faught namtz gangs of 20+ people, though we kept growing. After a certain point Namtz never stood a chance against our fighting machine, since we got over 100 players, yet they kept trying as good as they could. For that, they get my personal respect. I know we Smacked you allot, but thats all part of roleplaying a pirate/"bringer of hatred". And as for my smack(cant remember if i did, but knowing myself its hard sometimes not too) i hope it was never taken personal and it was a good laugh for both sides. We had a fun time overall and i hope most of you had too. CU namtz & allies next time

We will not deny-it: the war was a close-run thing.
We endured. We adapted. We resisted.
Low-sec-wars are a matter of patience and moraleà
We took our hits hard and early.
We've been chip chip chipping away at INFOD ever since...
Yes: we bored them as we didn't fly the way they wanted us too. Yes: we killed them because we didnÆt fly the way they wanted us too. Yes: we were forced to fight a guerilla war because we could not match their fleets. Yes: when we fought on even terms, or our own terms, we won consistently.
We do not claim strategic ôvictoryö: During their operational hours in the past two or three weeks, INFOD have exercised a degree of control over Molden HeathÆs crossroad-systems not seen before.
We do claim tactical parity: After our heavy losses in the first day of the war, we have steadily been killing more isk than weÆve been losingà to the point û achieved only a day or two before INFODÆs ôwithdrawalö û where we can rightfully say our pride and honour have been restored.
We do claim a victory of fortitude: INFOD set out to ôpurge Molden Heathö. All of the locals can attest to this, be they rookie pilots or freighter pilotsà But we are not purged.
INFOD wield their fleet well. We learnt that the hard way. So did Fifth Column, Etherial Dawn and Frege. Only Foundation seemed to be able to stand toe-to-toe in the battle of blobs. But the 50-ship INFOD gatecamps we saw in the initial weeks of this eight-week campaign dwindled steadily as frustration no doubt mounted at our hit-and-run tactics. And weÆre sure popping noob ships gets boring after a few monthsà
INFOD produced pilots that we learnt to respect. It also produced pilots that gave us much mirth and enjoyment. Unfortunately, it also produced plenty who earnt widespread contempt.
The war put NMTZ under a lot of pressure. Pressure can crush. Pressure also produces diamondsà I look around me, proudly noting so many of our podpilots now truly glistenà
We know INFOD will be back. It may be days. It may be weeks. Who knows. What we do knowà We will welcome you the same way we always do.
To the honourable pilots of Molden Heath: Thankyou for flying with us and alongside us. We will continue to work quietly in the background, hunting and killing those who seek to prey on our friends and neighbours.
Fly safe, Molden Heath Fly smart. Fly freeà FLY TOGETHER!!!

Ive been gone form MH for a while now, but when I was a council in NMTZ you guys moved to GW as my corp and a few other NMTZ corps did and out of your whole bunch I think you were the only one that ever earned my pilots respect. Your limited smack and bragging, and knowing how to fight was what forced most of the NMTZ corps out of GW. MY hats off to you ;)
DuPuy - I think you managed to accomplish the impossible, but I wont go over that in public eyes. Just accept my congrats even if you and I never flew side by side.

I'v never personally had any experience with Hazor but his posts on behalf of NMTZ are by far better than that of his predecessors. While by the sounds of it, this speech was either written a few days ago, or he hasn't noticed our diminished numbers in Molden Heath. Never the less It's refreshing to see a write-up, 90% of which doesn't require correcting.

Also my corp has only liek 5 people in it, all inaqctive apart from me. Drop a wardec on my corp so I can make it mutual! I also wanna join in.
