Bed Bugs
Was just taking my sheets off to do a laundry and saw lots of small blood specs, and under the sheets a bunch of nasty looking very small beetle like creatures.
Im a bit freaked out right now.
Can anyone seriously tell me what im going to going through to get rid of these nasty things?
Will I need to leave the apartment for a exterminator, and if so usualy how long?
Will a normal hot water laundry kill them.
I heard a rumor they can go into large areas inclusing electronics like stero's and guitars, is that true?

You'll need to wash everything with bleach water. For colored items use a very small ammount. Then go over to your local Hardware store and get a bug bomb. Set it off in your room and leave your house for a full day, come back and open all windows for 5 hours and all bugs should be gone. :)

A 'professional' would probably be safer than yourself doing it. But I guess it depends if you have the money to spend. If you cant decide just sleep on it (but dont let the bed bugs bite)

I hear these things are REALLY sensitive to cold temperature.
May be a hint.

Do NOT use a bug bomb.
I was an Exterminator in the past and those things are BAD. They kill the bugs in that room, but they wind up making a lot of them scatter to other rooms. Just do as one of the original posters said. Wash EVERYTHING in HOT water and you maybe can use RAID or some other over the counter pest control to spray under the bed, on the bedposts near the floor, and in the corners of the room.

took me 2 weeks to figure out why I kept waking up with bug bites. I seriously didn't know there were such bugs. threw out my mattress, got new sheets and sprayed my room down before putting any of it in there. problem solved. -=#=- Angry beer bottles make Kaemonn a sad panda

geckos are cool. I can't wait for gecko gloves so I can climb on walls to.
But seriously, just make the room colder and they will leave. -=#=- Angry beer bottles make Kaemonn a sad panda

Simply release wave after wave of Chinese needle snakes. Then get that fabulous type of gorilla that thrives on snake meat. and when wintertime rolls around, the gorillas simply freeze to death. Problem solved.

Get your hands on the purest chlorine you can find.
Put it in your room. open the bottle and don't breathe,
Leave the room and lock it for 6 hours. After that you just open your window and close the bottle but don't breathe and cover your face with cloth. then go wait for another 3 hours.
But seriously don't --- --- ---

If you cant find any pure chlorine, just mix a lot of bleach with some ammonia cleaner. Nothing like the smell of mustard gas in the morning.
But seriously, dont. ---------
