Look, I'm not gonna lie to you guys: the Cormorant was already a good ship, but the recent change has just made it straight up sexy. I'd make babies with it if I could.

Tbh, the old Cormorant looked like a M113 without tracks and some stuff fitted on its sides

List of amarr ships that need to be completely redesigned
All frigates except Crucifier.
(Punisher is good but update it)
Both destroyers. Dragoon is an abomination. Laziest amarr design ever.
Confessor is trash except for the engine. Coercer could be made symmetrical.
All cruisers except maller.
Legion especially.
All bc except the Oracle.
(Oracle could be spruced up in some spots though to make the it even cooler.
Armageddon
Abaddon and apocalypse are both good as is, (update the Abaddon)
Paladin needs a new animation for bastion.

I think Osprey is really it. Most of the frigs are good (unless you really think the Merlin or Kestrel needs help, but eh, I'm fine with them (and the Raven), personally).
Main things that need help STAT after Osprey are Imicus/Helios and Celestis/Lachesis/Azrazu and several Minnie/Amarr ships.
They are doing the Vexor soon, so I suppose they'll be doing the Thorax soon as well, but to me Vexor and Thorax are fine as it. Eh.

I swapped from Vindicators to Nightmares for incursioning a couple years ago and as a result of all the laser fun I had, I've tried out some non-sansha laser ships (aka Amarrian ships). The ones I'm most a fan of are the Paladin, the Zealot, and the Confessor.
I don't know that I'd say the Confessor is trash... I think the Hecate's design is somewhat sexier, but the Confessor is sooo much better than the Svipul and the Jackdaw it ain't funny. Cold Iron or Purity Confessor especially are nice.
Omen/Zealot just needs that damned lopsided shield on one side taken away/modified/duplicated to the other side to make the ship more symmetrical.
Abaddon looks fine to me as is but I've only flown it once or twice, Armageddon engines are way too small there at the end, they could stand to expand 'em. Paladin's bastion mode is cool but hard to see, doesn't really need to be changed entirely, maybe just make the blue glowy bits brighter/make the hull section pop out further to the sides/below the ship.
Kronos double hood pop for bastion is a good example (though it could stand to be brighter/bit more open as well). |
