Greetings,
Today, after 3 days of hard work on movie editing things I've grown from a complete noob to a less completely noob in making eve videos, and I finally fnished my first eve movie. The movie features solo myrmidon actions in low sec in 1v1 or 1 vs serval. It might not as good as other videos since it's my first movie anyway, so please leave your constructive critiques to help me improve my next movies. Thank you.

Its a good vid with some nice action, but tbh I had to skip some of the fights because they took forever to finish and get on with the next fight. I suggest maybe speeding up the large fights next time so people don't get bored. Like I did - the fight with steele fox goes on for 7mins and a futher 5 on the 1vs1 (Half the total movie). Apart from that it's very good.

Comments on how to improve the vid have allrdy been giving so i¦ll stick a bit to the content.
At first i was wondering why that Cane pilot wouldn¦t bail out on that fight. I¦d figured cool of him to stay and not bail out on a 1 on 1 he was kinda loosing. Later it got clear he stayed as long as possible for his buddie to arrive or he might have had his buddie rdy the whole time only calling him in at the last moment to try keep the so called i honor the 1 on 1 code up. So where did ya do this 1 on 1 fight. Was it on a moon so that guy could tell his buddie where to warp to or did ya get probed out?
Setup wise i reckon you could use dual webber to take out his ecm drones, but am sure am not telling anything new there.
Nice effort overall.

Thank you for leaving the feedbacks. As some of you pointed out, I reall should avoid long 1v1 fights which make the movie a bit boring or at least make them more speedy.

No, it wasn't on a moon, it was on a random safe spot I made. You might didn't notice that he quited my gang during the fight. After that, he probably invited his buddy to his new gang and later warped to me.

Your right, I should fit dual webs and try to kill his ecm drones first. Unfortunately, I didn't have 2nd web nearby. What I fit on the 5th med slots really depends on different situations. It could be 2nd web, 2nd scamblers, sensor booster, tracking disruptor or dampener.

Was a excellent movie with good PVP action. And for me personally, the 1v1's dont need to be speed up, as you can actually see the tactics used by you and your opponent. You cant see that well in a speeded up video.
Kinda funny how one dishonors a 1v1 (could have been expected though, you won a previous matchup already, so he wants you dead) and you still warp away. Thats stupid. If you dishonor a 1v1 at least they should be able to kill you, otherwise you look even more stupid.

Good job on the video Xiao, some real nice fights. Enjoyed the BS kills and of course watching steele getting pew pew'd. Good overall job, however some of the music except KoRn (who i love) was abit hmmmmm.
But great job, keep at it!

That was one of the best action I've seen in an EVE-vid in a loong time. VERY nice job, definately keeping this one.
Editing wise, there isn't much. One thing I didn't like though, was the font color you used

What a great first vid, really liked the japanese slant you have going on here with the music. Its a fresh idea - looking forward now to your next vid. I didnt find the long solo fights boring at all, was gripped by the action tbh.

While it's good old idiot farming in low sec for footage, most of the piloting is nice - but as you've mentioned yourself, lack of speedups on some fights (the pushovers early on) does kind of hurt rhythm/interest. At least a little bit of 33% increase would be nice to make things look smother, it's still tons and tons of time to catch the details. But the countless close calls made up for that.
But I do have to ask : What the christ were you thinking when you ran your cap dead on utterly pointless MWDing around the claymore ? What the christ.
No seriously, what in the world? Tell me you had a phonecall or something. Somebody smashed your head with a frying pan. I don't know, anything. You were watching your injectors go dry way too fast and you probably know it wasn't doing anything beneficial at all in those circumstances, but you just kept on running it until the inevitable warpout. :/
(Also, what is up with some fights being slideshows and others smooth ? Running a dozen alts ? -_- )

I am still waiting for you to post that loss of your Stabber several days ago. But anyway, decent video, I enjoyed most of it. The pace was a bit slow as others have said but overall I would give it a 7/10. Very good for a first attempt atleast.

I like to keep a bouch of km for a while and post them together, unfortunately I delete the km folder that day which caused me to lose 2 or 3 days of km, including 2 stabber, 1 myrmidon losses and about 10 kills. You can check it on our kb that I have no record, either kills or losses, during that 2 or 3 days. If you still keep that km pls forward it to me in game and I'll post it right away. Thank you.

This movie was really kickass, why? Because you pwnt without some uber faction ship, solo, in my favorite ship, the myrmidon.
Really inspiring, I've had a few dozen Myrmidon fights now, mostly solo and I just love the ship. I really feel your pain when you scoop and launch your drones a million times troughout the fight, I recognise everything you do, your fitting and strategy, most of the time when I'm watching a vid I'm like 'no, noo turn on that module! quick mwd he's getting out of web range', but in this vid you pretty much almost all the time did things I'd do myself.
Still, you suprised me more than once going against the odds, more numbers than an average pilot with T1 damage output can handle, but you mostly just kicked ass. It really showed too when you went against the other Myrmidon, he just didn't know how to pilot it, and you did.
I really enjoyed this video, and it's really inspiring as well. Great work! If you can find the time, send me an evemail when your next vid comes out.

Ok, Warning I am a none STK/rule of three person posting about this vid.
Good vidi. I am posting now as I feel it deserves a bump. Excelent editing for your first vid. I think the slow fights added intrest, set it apart for other vids. Oh, I know taste is subjective but that music was poo inmo.
This is another myrm video employing a combination of NOS with microdamage from drones and possibly small guns to get the kill. Its amazing the kind of things this combination on drone ships can kill, needs a look at I feel. It is untterly dominating when used against people who lack T2 guns and thus lack the damage to kill before being sucked dry, thus n00bs especially fall victim to it.
Good tactical thinking. The raven and claymore must have been utterfools though. Whats that tank you had on there 550hp/s tanked? max? problaby worse. The torp raven should be at least putting out about that. Together with the explosive damage from the auto guns of the claymore you should have melted. It was awesome to see you win, Excellent Wei.
Also why the hell did the claymores shield tank fall apart almost immediatly from the firepower of T1 drones and 2 T1 guns with T1 ammo? Please don't tell me he could not handle 4 NOS for a min or two...
The T2 megapule Abbadon, I swear a double webby is a must if your prepared to use that thing like he did. I am guessing the only damage you took off him was on your way to him MWDing in from his optimal he undoubtly warped in at.
Though 10% of me is entertaining the idea that the raven/claymore/inty fight was staged, 90% is willing to belive your a great PvP player who has focused your strengths and hidden your weaknesses.
