Has it been fixed? With that option on you won't be able to run 2 clients. If you disable it you can. It is a nice feature, and prepatch there were no problems.
Would like it fixed ;)

afaik it has'nt, this needs to be off for me when playing more then 1 account on my PC aswell, tis annoying :|

I have to switch that off on both accounts, and in addition flip a ctrl-alt-shift-f12 t kill the sound on one client, to ensure I don't BSOD, then restart each client every two hours or so, as CTD will be inevitible if left running indefinelty. Without sun occlusion and audio killed i don't ctd, I bsod.

upgrade your system..
Been running 2 clients on 1 system with the sun occluded on both. Works fine.
I would say it isn't eve, it's your system.

I would say your wrong. It could be an issue with certain graphics cards though as I am still using a geforce 4600ti. I can't run 2 eve clients with sun occluded. If I turn it off it runs fine for hours with no CTD.
My system:
P4 2.8GHz
1 gig
geforce 4600ti
xp Pro

yes i would agree with Lord Zap, I am runnign a Gf4ti440 and a pci gf440 for the second monitor. This issue exists certainly with GF cards, but I have corp members who have similar experiences with radeon cards.

Erm.
Because this is a problem with nVidia cards it worked quite good but then it suddenly became broken after CCP's patch?

was a problem before castor for me, i could never run 2 clients with sun occlusion on.

I have had no trouble whatsoever with occlusion. I run 2 clients at the same time on my computer and it's kinda laggy when doing bigscale mining ops but nothing I can't live with.
AMD 1200mhz, Radeon 9600 Pro, 512MB Ram
