ahhh good for him i suppose, even more owning everything with smart bombs ^^
i cant see how people can camp a gate like that for so long... i got sniped in rancer early last year, and god knows how long before that rancer was camped....

Mother ships are not impossible to kill in 0.0, but in low-sec I would say they are just about unkillable.
1) You can't use ewar on them. No scrams, no webs, no damps, no ECM, I am not sure but it seems likely you can't paint them either.
2) You can dictor bubble or mobile warp disrupt them. However with officer Smartbombs the bubbles die if they are too close. And you can't deploy either in low-sec anyways. The way to lock them down is to repeatedly bump them (has to be battleships or capitals, everything else dies to the smartbombs)and chain dictor bubbles alonfg their path.
3) In low-sec there is no way to keep them from cynoing except to somehow get their cap under 70% and keep it there. However....
4) They can persistently run 3 capital armor reppers, officer smartbobmbs, and can get absolutely silly cap recharge rates (78 seconds is the fastest I have heard)
So If you can bump one with capitals and get enough nos on it within a minute of it jumping in to a system to keep it from cynoing out. Then keep bumping it while you get your own capital ships in (Gun dreads won't be able to hit it in siege very well btw because of tracking, and the smartbomb blows up citadels torps, to make it even harder) you just might be able to kill a MS in low-sec. Of course you should presume it will have a support fleet you have to contend with as well, if it looks to be in serious danger.
So, you better have a large cap fleet, a large support fleet, a well laid trap (so you can get the nos ships on it fast enough) and then you might be able to do it.
Or you can scan it down when it logs with agro, thats how most ships in this class die.

For the record, gun dreads in siege have no problem hitting other capitals. I got solid hits on carriers in the C4C battle and the MM mothership in Fountain got absolutely baked (15% armor rather quickly) before cynoing out.
I do idly wonder if Ginger would self-destruct his mothership (if he had one) if he knew it was going down, like we've seen him do in his carriers :P
Honestly, I don't see the Battlestar Miz going down anytime soon as long as the mechanics of lowsec stay the same. We might have an honest chance of it in 0.0 with a well-thought plan, but in lowsec it's next to impossible.

Yeah, Rancer has been almost perma-camped for atleast the past year or so I think.

I can jump out to either of my 2 cyno alts within 2 seconds of a fleet jumpig in.

As for "rage"... Yes, I'm furious for seeing gankbears make all player pirates look bad. Besides, things like this 0.4 gate camping with Motherships makes me count for days before we see more gankbears whining to CCP about how "More people must be forced to lowsec for sake of gameplay balance", or using some other way to get risk-free PvP kills.
Good ol' gankbears... They remain cowardly losers of highest degree and the pinnacle of their cowardice is that they never admit being such losers, but instead keep whining about "empire carebears".
