Hi
I am well aware that Eve is primarily a PvP game.
Nonetheless, I would like to know if there is an alliance of corps that stick to the industry side of the game and avoids PvP?

Well the goal of my question is because non-allied corps war dec cost is still 2mil per week. It is far greater for allied corps (the new war dec cost rules).
If an industry-oriented corp wants to avoid war decs, it should look for an industry-oriented alliance. I'm not necessarily looking for 0.0 based alliances.

Agreed.
I am currently back in a NPC corp.
I'm trying to find corps that are industry-oriented. It's more fun in a player corp, but it's not fun when you're trying to mine/trade/manufacture and your corp is getting war dec'd.

I'm sure someday I might want to PvP. For now I have fun (which is the goal of any game) doing industry stuff (I'm one of those who loved SimCity and games like that). I'm just trying to find corps that do what I like (for now).
When the Yarrr inside me wants to surface up, I won't have any trouble finding PvP-oriented corps.

war dec costs on allied corps has greatly increased since the last patch. I expected that the high cost would discourage war decs on "boring" targets?

agreed, but with the new rules, the odds of avoiding war decs in a non-pvp alliance (50+mil per week) are better than in a non-allied corp (2mil per week)

Correct Prant, I had no desire to be in 0.0.
Thanks for the info. Silicon industries, part of the CIC alliance? Any web page I can browse?
