Well, to start with, I fly an Arbitrator.. its a good ship, not the best, but pretty nice nonetheless.
So anyways.. it all started last night, actually. I was in a 0.4 system, bored out of my arse.. only 1 other person in local. He was flying an Abaddon. Joy.
Talk about bored.. we stayed in the system, all by our lonesome. So I decided.. screw it, and went to the belt he was at. 75m3 drone bay is teh suck!
Ok.. maybe I'll get lucky and he'll have T1 drones. Warp in to 0, he's at 15km from me. Engage my AB, he starts targetting me. Scram, TD.. still not in NOS range. Crap... tech 2 hammerheads. Damn.
So I start to orbit at 5km, engage the NOS, and start engaging the drones.. kill one.. bye bye shields. Crap. Kill another, 1/2 armor.. I'm so dead. Least he's not hitting me with his turrets (yay tracking disruptor  )
Somehow.. by the grace of the EvE gods, I actually killed the last drone, and start working on him. Sweet.. back to 100% armor... he gets to armor damage.. my shields almost 100%. He can't hit me. I'm at 75% capacitor. Sweetness.
Then it happens. There are now 3 people in local. Info the other guy.. he's in the same corp as the Abaddon pilot. 
The other pilot warps in at 53km out. Drake. Well.. damn my luck. Abaddon is at 50% armor, would have died. I decided, screw it. Ran away. Probably couldn't have killed the Abaddon while getting hit with heavies. Oh well.
So.. back to today. I log in, see a stabber. Sweet.. engaged him, stabber dead. Then I go after a rupture. Look at his age.. he's 2 months old  . So I warp scram him. In local, I tell him to hurry up and repair so I can engage.
He asks in local if he can just go his way. I tell him, no.. but he can get a couple corp mates if he wants. He says, "ok.. another person in corp is otw". Sweet.. hope he's not in a drone / missle boat .
The rupture's corp mate warps in.. in a coercer? Ok... warp scram the coercer, TD the rupture, NOS the coercer. Unleash drones.. wtf? how did the destroyer get to hull that quick? (1 volley from each of my drones). So I put the drones on the Rupture. Warp scram the rupture (maybe coercer will warp out and get repped). Kill the rupture. Coercer still there. Kill the destroyer. Sweet.. 2v1, I win.
Couple more kills, see a raven. why not?
I hate ECM. Heavy NOS'd.. blah.. ran away 
Then it happened. I see a 'ceptor. Engage him.. I hate MWD's.. then comes a cyclone. I start engaging the cyclone. I die. Bleh.
So one of my corp mates comes on, brand new cov-ops pilot (this will be his first pvp experience, ever). I go to the belt, 'ceptor not in local anymore. Cyclone still here. Double damped. 20km, still can't target, in armor. I run.. for the time being.
Heal up to 75% shields. I scan out the cyclone. Tell my corp mate to warp to him, cloak up, get to 10km of the cyclone, then warp out when I get into warp, then to warp back to optimal.
Going at it with the cyclone, we're killing my T2 drones (cyclone equipped the ones that I used originally). Cyclone starts bombing my stealth bomber gang mate . Tell my gang mate to warp out.. but yea, you know the first pvp adrenalin rush. Warping out didn't happen. Boom went the bomber.
Drones dead. Cool.. work on the cyclone. 10 freaking cap boost (200's) later.. cyclone finally dead. Some good loot. Loot the bomber, etc.. Gang mate heads out and researches getting an arbitrator  .
So I go back, see a Wolf. Sweet.. free T2 gear  Or not. Wolf leaves local. Oh, there he is again.. this time in a hurricane. Ok... might be able to kill him.
Engaged a rupture I saw hanging around. OFC, the hurrican warps in, and engages me as well. Killed the rupture, I'm at 1/2 armor.. 5x Warrior II's are pwning my armor Kill off 3 of the drones, and pop goes the weasel. I hate fighting drones.
All in all, it was a great day for pvp. 6 kills, 2 losses. Not bad at all imho.
My opinion is my own, not of my corp or my alliance. If you have problems, we can have a "who can do L4 missions faster" duel >:) |
