After a quarter bottle of South African Port, my mind is at the optimal inebriation level for the writing of this post. I fully suspect that I'll have half a bottle by the end.
It is with great pleasure, and a slight buzz, that I extend my hearty congratulations to the members of Imperium Technologies, past and present, on our recent milestone. It was in our 3rd year that I felt that recognition of our milestone was deserving of a post here in COAD; in the past year we've seen some prestegious corporations close their doors and move onto new experiences... we're not one of them. I raise my glass high to my fellow ITRS; an awesome year was had, and we're set to continue our trends of pleasing friends and ticking off foes in the year to come.

To our friends, most of whom have been around longer than the vast majority of Eve corps, you've stood by us and lent us unwavering support without question. Together, we'll continue to spit in the eye of death and give him mega-wedgies often. To our enemies of the past, many that you are, and to our current foes and those we've yet to meet, I raise my glass to you highest, brutal conflict in the life of Eve and the fountain from which we seek to partake often. You had me at Hello. My corpse is still considered a collectors item, come get it.

When people speak of the region Querious, they speak of IT. We've been here over 3 years... you will be hard pressed to find any corp, in any region, that has inhabited a region without pause for so long. Many have sought to evict us, none have succeeded... some have had a tantalizingly close taste of that success. I'm bragging, but my bottle is half full at this stage, I'm allowed to after four years; if you disagree, bite me.

From working the market in Placid, to a long stint in the CFS, to being absolutely sick of the CFS and becoming independants in Querious; to owning the station of 9CG and giving it freely to the fledgling QDF and FIX, and to two years or irreplacable experiences in FIX, we raise our glass, and thank you all for making our time here so friggin worthwhile.

I got my start in IT. I cannot begin to express what a great collection of people that make up this corp. Ive been through 2 of the biggest wars Querious has ever seen alongside these guys and they always charge straight into battle with integrity honor and great gamemanship.

o/ Wildcat You found your place in UDIE, I remember fighting them in two wars before their current roster of pilots. All the best to you bud, I was happy to scoop you from the ashes of Huzzah, and I'm glad to see you find a place where you feel at home to your play style... just tell Masta to STFU and lay off the inflated smack.

I'm down to a 3rd of a bottle here... refill on the way, but I have to head to bed in order to work tommorow. Damn shame that. Anyways, I don't think I'll be able to provide Entilzah with his hoped for rant tonight, I'll see what I can provide on Friday when I don't have work to follow the next day (I'm sure I'll be able to come up with some appropriate material to inflame the forum)... also providing I can stay awake long enough to get wasted properly.
A great many people have had an effect on my life on Eve, far too many to recount in a short post. Best wishes with you all... damn work... gets in the friggin way of Eve. Night.

Ok, here we go!
To be a part of IT has been a truly unique experience in my life. I'm privileged to be a part of this corp and to have been able to meet and play with such awesome people. In my time I've wound up in gangs and TS chats with some of the most famous players our universe has spawned. I've gotten to fly in some of the more epic battles of recent history. And in some small small ways, I've gotten to make a difference. All because of IT.

The greatest part of my experience in the corp has been all of the great friendships that it has spawned. People from all over hell and breakfast getting together, telling stories, getting loaded, slinging jokes and kicking rectum. The quality of our corp mates past and present has always shocked me. It's like the specialists all come to IT to bloom. Fleet commanders, captains of industry, savvy traders, solo kill machines all have been, or are still members. All of whom, merely needed a bit of advice and encouragement and made their way on their own accomplishments. And all of whom have made their corp mates proud.

Hey you baloney, you don't know me. I was with the Celery Brigade! What was I saying? Oh yea, IT. These guys are the BEST! And I really think it comes down to the environment. There has always been an open atmosphere and sense of unity within IT. There is always the room to try and succeed (or fail) on your own. Hell, they let me run for FIX leadership!  For those that know me, you can imagine what a leap of faith that must have been.
/beer...umm, a couple broke so I can't count empties. And I found some cooking wine in a cabinet...it kinda tastes like vinegar, but whatever. Let's call it 14.66245
So. In conclusion, there ain't no conclusion. Imperium Technologies still has many more chapters to be written in it's august history. We have a whole new generation of terrors to unleash upon the killboards and wallets of EvE. Avernus has many more wine fueled eloquent ideas to inspire and bewitch. Silinary has even more, pragmatic, projections of the future and how best to navigate the pitfalls ahead. And I...well I guess I'll keep doing what The Beard does best. Stick my nose where it doesn't belong, provide people with information on human biology that they never would think to ask about, keep fighting for the rights of the little guy and just in general be a big pain in the rear.

Anyway, Happy Birthday IT, it's an honour and a privilege to be in such a fine corp. I always knew I'd return back to Q but never thought it would be with a fine bunch of pilots.
