Greetings!
We are planning a mass test on Singularity on Tuesday, May 2nd at 17:00 UTC (= EVE time)!
What exactly is being tested?
- Blood Raider Shipyards and NPC combat.
- General server and client performance + stability
How to connect to Singularity for this test:
Change the server from Tranquility to Singularity in the upper left corner of the new launcher and log in as normal. More detailed instructions are available here.
Test steps:
1. Use /moveme to go to a specified system to be identified on Tuesday
2. Meet up at the station inside this System
3. We will be creating 3 fleets, these will consist of: A Short Range weapons based fleet, a Long Range fleet, and a mixed fleet.
4. CCP FCs will all warp their fleets to their own bookmarks at the Shipyard.
5. Fleets will call NPC targets and fight.
6. Anyone in a Capital Ship should shoot at the shipyard.
What else should I know?
Late notice for the test system destination is expected.
2M Skill points will be awarded on Singularity for this mass test
The test system will have a station which you can create a medical clone at, in case of podding and you want to return to the fight.

They always give us command /omega for these tests, so if you are alpha CCP Habakuk will give us /omega command when the test starts.

What ships shall we bring???? Anyone got fitting recommendations for these? I'm guessing standard PVE fits won't cut the mustard with these new AI... |

Maybe some long/short range nightmares ? or machariels ?

Ok, great. New content. Whoop dee doo. Maybe you could put a little effort into fixing old issues like ... er ... oh I know, like how so many players can't take part in tests because they can't even log in to Singularity. Come on CCP. Let's mirror in some more account, ok? |

Sounds good, count me in. However, I do need the "omega" upgrade allowed on sisi, since coming back and the mirror has not been updated.

Why weren't there any fleets posted?

Total waste of effort. Totally ignored by whatever idiots are organizing the test, never invited to fleet, warped to the system its happening in in hopes of a invite, ignored again and then it kicked me from game.
Not helping test anything again. Not worth my time to just be ignored. Thanks for living up to the hype CCP. |

i thought the rules where no PVP during the test, i got killed by a fleet of players soon as i arived

An ISD came on about a half hour in and said they got all the info they needed and then told everyone to feel free to kick the shite out of each other. There were at least 300 people on my channel not invited to the fleet so they were all a little PO'd, I think. Just taking out their frustrations, I guess. |

Spent 30 minutes shooting at the Soyito from 70km in the mixed range fleet....
Gave up and joined the short range fleet and found that most of the rats couldn't be targeted as the game kept saying they were in warp (which they were not).
FC didn't say much so didn't even know it was over and they kept broadcasting other players as targets lol |

join channel masstesting after logging onto sisi , this really should be posted in every mass test announcement .
MOTD and fleet links were in that channel .

ships coming out of warp have 5 secs invulnerability ..
there's a few posts critical of these tests , but if you don't take it too serious , a good time can be had . ccp staff do a good job of herding cats , and everything's only 100 isk .. gonna be the cheapest ship you ever lose ..

Hi everyone. Apologies for the delayed reply.
Thank you for taking part in the mass test, we were able to really test out the AI on the battlefield. I am sorry for those of you who had trouble getting into a fleet, or that you were at the wrong distances. However you really helped out by being there, you should have received your 2 million SP on Singularity for the test.
We will have another mass test tonight which will be a little different. This time there will just be one fleet, and we will be warping to a global beacon. You will be able to choose the usual "Warp to within" distance for yourself when we do this.
