I was reading a blog that mentioned pilots exiting their pods and walking around stations and possibly visiting alliance and /or corp meetings?
Well after seeing some of the game and the intense graphics the game developers must be excellent at their craft, their seems to be an unbelievable amount of detail, which in my twisted mind leads to a problem.
They've created such a realistic tapestry, and I've also noted the ranks of the Dev's has increased with more females what is the possibility of working kitchens and bathrooms in station?
Being a guy I'm not so worried about the kitchen we all know there's sharp things in there and if you don't know what you're doing just stay out.
What's keeping me up at night is the bathroom! Ok so you go visit all these meetings eating and drinking, but what you don't realize is you're under surveillance, so now your guts talking to you making those funny noises that normally get drowned out by your pod fluid, so it's off to a bathroom stall for you.
Sitting their all pleased, fumes a spreading, looking through a favored mini holoreel "Babes of Bob 2".
The door opens and in steps gank squads when you can least stand up and defend yourself!
How will the kill mail read? Will it say you died in a station bathroom? what about your clone, after that gasp of breath the deep inhale, will he immediately exhale from somewhere else are will he be wearing pre pod diapers?

I would be standing up to pee, so when the bad guy knocks on the door, ill just give him a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick in the face.

Yes, this worries me too, I suppose I will just have to trust the devs when they say there will be no killing in the stations. Just walking. Come to think of it they don't mention about having a dump either. Maybe we have to go back to our pods to have a jobbie.
I hope we can go shopping too, I am saving my ISK so I can get a nice pair of Jimmy Choo strappy stilettos. And I am looking forward to getting my hair done, I have had this, albeit stunning, 'do for years now.

Shopping and walking would be fun, but we should be able to go to the bar, get good and loaded then have good ol' bar fight then be hauled away by CONCORD, thrown in the drunk tank and fined. I'd love to be able to throw a few punches in fun.

If we aren't given the ability to kill inside stations, then IMO this is a worthless feature that I hope will never be implemented. EVE's whole premise is that you can be killed any time anywhere. I want to have the option the putting a blaster pistol to your forehead and pulling the trigger.

if enough detail and possible activities (including risk/reward things like missions) are added inside of stations, a player could end up never leaving...
is this good or bad? for one, a whole new sub-game would be developed for personal weapons and armor, and missions or pvp arenas for personal combat. or perhaps missions should include doing things both inside AND OUTSIDE of a station, or multiple stations. there is great potential to increase immersion without ruining the game.
but i think most players would oppose embedding a form of WoW within EVE stations...

Take away the flying around part and you make EVE into a space themed spreadsheet application. |

IÆve seen some hostile responses, and am trying to come up with some already in game solutions.
I know a guy or two that have been collection mission items, so I was thinking maybe you could bring some homeless along to cover your back or whatever while indisposed,
Of the things I would consider are slaver dogs, tourist maybe some slaves.
Those I wonÆt allow in would exotic dancers; theyÆre to critical to on ship activities.
Marines NO WAY, those military types are all into competition and such, I would be in there trying for some serenity and the last thing I want to hear are a few boisterous boast and cheers about who ôlaunched the largestö.
That brings me to the MILITANTS oh no no no, remember the SERENITY NOW!
Well the last thing I want to hear are discussions in the next stall about what type of projectile ammo will cause the most damage to the pipes, or hey we just found a good use for anaconda mines.
And Ebers who are you to ask who am I?

I want to ram my megathron threw one of the big windows during anyones corp meetings.....that would be fun...but atlast...WIS and me have no feelings for eachother and I wont participate when it comes out.
Free-form Professions, ensure no limetations on professions. Be a trader, fighter, industialist, researcher, hunter pirate or mixture of them all.

After 2 hours in the bathroom you will be camped & blobbed. If you try to cloak with toiletpaper you will fail because the walls aint white. In a desperate attempt to log you realize the only log you're doing is the lumber you dropppet in the bowl ...
I doubt anyone will collect your lewt ....

Personally, I think the walking-in-station will mark the start, of the end of Eve.
I would rather they put the skill in this area, into allowing space combat and travel to be done via manual mechanisms. I so wish I could fly my ship ie with a joystick etc.

edit: I mean like a manual over-ride, so the existing mechanism can stay in place, but with an option to pilot your ship, (take command as captain rather than strategic advisor.)
And what, you ***** on the forum about lag caused by this new system? No server could handle that many players with that many variables being sent back and forth between the server and client. Stop being so thick and ignorant about this.

Cloning tehcnology does not work outside the pod.
So it's perma death and character deletion zone in the stations.
I'm not gonna risk it. I like my pod and the pod goo...

Yes! WE WANT a shooting game at the station taking other players hangars; ships, modules, minerals and BPOs + BPCs from labs. WE WANT a new personal weapons - machineguns and sniper rifles - Alien, Russian and USA made like in on other FPS games as ARMA etc., there must be an alien invaders also Serpentice and others to take their faction modules and ships back and I just see the message on the screen - "Your hangars was invaded - DO YOU WISH TO DEFEND?" LOL.
This game has to be a nightmare for the players to be attractive and deadly addictive.
*1 more - we have to start to buy the skill points for ISK ASAP - that is the key for the game CCP has to realize.

There was an lvl 2 mission where an agent kept getting her concord issued guns stolen?
So will there be new missions to police her area, cause apparently concord is no help to her, that would help the PVE types and if done right even the PVPers might enjoy it, weird change of pace, now us carebear types could just help her move to a safer area of the station, of course if the elevator doors open exposing a gank squad weÆll drop her stuff and run.
I suggest every station have a concord office where I could run to and smacktalk in safety from, also if your security is high enough you could use their private bathroom!
One last silly question if you accidentally pull the fire alarm do they eject you from the station without your pod?
