I'm just curious if this stock is doing better than average, or what.
It started $10,000,000 isk per share, started 6 weeks ago. It pays dividends once per week.
Week # : % return 1 : 16.68% 2 : 13.21% 3 : 22.41 % 4 : 14.67 % 5 : 13.03 % 6 : 12.04 %
Basically, it's almost doubled the investment for the stockholders investment in 6 weeks. I assume that's good? Do other stockholders see returns like this?

Originally by: Professor Bunsen In terms of pure return and ignoring security of investment I would say it depends on the funds under management. 100 mil unimpressed, 1 bil OK, 10 bil very good.
It's a privately traded company, currently with 11.3 billion isk invested, and over a dozen shareholders.

If these shares are publically traded their price has likely risen considerably.
Any IPO or Bond issue seems to follow this trend. This seems to be the perfect price point of supply and demand for shares.
The exceptions to the rule are investments which actually increase the percentage of their payout/dividend without warning. These highly variable investments are relatively rare though. At least so far.
The current market trend is variable rate or fixed rate Bonds, which are actually more convenient (read:easier) for a business since they can actually pay off their investors with a maturity date on the Bonds. (at which point the Bond matures and a pre-set amount is paid, effectively ending all Dividends for those "shares")
Thanks I think...
I went in on this to keep the shares at 10million each, start to finish. This way I can buy them back from the shareholders at cost if they wanted their money back, and when the day comes I'm done I can give everyone their money back at cost.
Im not following several of the trends.

Nope, as I stated it's private.

Thanks everyone for the answers.
I wasn't too happy on how much money I made the shareholders and myself the past month (the 22.4% return spoiled me), and I was telling one of the shareholders I was upset I only made 12% this past week, and he told me I'm foolish to feel it, as other shares he got in the past were horrible compared to this. He gave a few examples, and I thought I would come here and get another opinion.
Seems I'm doing pretty good afterall, and I'll keep doing it.
Till I get sick of it and give all their money back, but we'll all be stinky rich by then :D

I don't think I could do it for the public at large, as I'm doing all the leg work to keep myself and my corp mates with a steady income to play freely instead of logging in to hear a few folks simply can't go play due to being broke, and needing to rat or mission.
If I did - I'd most certainly be keeping a percantage to pay for my work.
