Hi,
i created 2 weeks ago over a "recruit a friend link" a account and get insta 250K Skillpoints on the Redeem System.
Now i created 3,4 accounts no 250K :(
i wrote already a Ticket and he answers me that i need to convert my account to omega...?!?!
on the eveonline recruit a friend site is written:
Earn your choice of 30 days of game time or 1 PLEX every time one of your recruits upgrades to an Omega account. Email invites directly, or share a personal recruitment link in your favorite social media channels.
As an added bonus the recruited receives 250.000 skill points when they create their account
can somebody confirm thats a error?

Pretty sure when it says recruit it means recruit a FRIEND, AKA Get a friend of yours to join the game with him joining via a link. Im not too sure myself ive never done it, but i dont think it means that if you create another account yourself that it'll give you 250k

I re-read what you said, and i believe you might have misread it. It means that if you recruit a friend (not yourself or an alt of yours) then the person you recruited will get 250K skill points when they upgrade to omega, or YOU will get a 250K sp bonus for making a new player go Omega
EDIT: Im not 100% sure i haven't looked into it, this is just assumption. |

I tried to "recruit" some alts before and had no problems.
Did you also use the recruit link for your 3rd and 4th account? |

I'm new but I hope this might be relevant or helpful.
I have a friend who has played EvE for several years and showed me the game recently. It looked very exciting, so I decided to join up. He sent me a referral link which I used to create my account. (After watching some of the stuff he was up to, I decided to subscribe from the start, as it's not very expensive).
I was also quite confused about not getting the promised 250k skill points as the OP describes. I thought they would be in my character sheet somewhere. Maybe they were given out when you knew a bit more about what you were doing? So, I did the tutorial and during that, there is a point when you get given some items - including a skill injector - as a redeemable reward, and it teaches you how to redeem things. In so doing, I noticed that I had also redeemed what looked like a skill book which was in fact, the 250k boost. (I was very confused at first, since the reward skill injector is 25k points, which I thought at first was me misreading the bonus! On using the special skill book, I got the promised 250k SP boost, plus a 25 k top up from the tutorial, making a total start bonus of 275k SP, which is very nice.
(Not that I have a clue how to use them yet, but its' nice to have! It's also very nice to have a lot of isk to play with, since my friend gave me some of the plex reward he got for his kind referral. It's a very good system, I think).
So, in short, maybe the OP has them hiding in a redeem queue?
BTW, let me take the opportunity to thank everyone for their advice in this forum - it's been incredibly useful reading everything here! |

Having the same problem as OP. I've made 3 accounts with ' recruit a friend' links and all of them got the 250k SP redeemable and was able to redeem them.
But now when I make a new account with the recruiter links I'm not getting the 250k SP redeemable. Its not in the 'Redeem Items' or at the bottom of the 'Character selection' screen.
Curious if there is a limit based off IP address. |
