How do I start this? Monday May 7 2007 the Eve community had lost a vetran player and dear friend. Please forgive me if I don't type this right but Beachie88 ( her in game name ) was at home on Monday May 7 2007 and about 8 am a man broke into her home with her 19 yr old daughter there and startted opening fire. Beachie was shot three time 1 time to the head and the daughter was shot in the leg.
The only reason I am posting this is cause Beachie88 was a dear friend and great mother to her children. Also I am writting this in memory of her and maybe C.C.P. could do some type of memorial for her in game. I know they did one for a person that died on a motorcycle a few years ago. Beachie will be missed by everyone that loved her. Her husband ( whom I will not mention at this time) also plays Eve and they both are in the same corp which is the corp I belong to. I would like to say more but I am with out words right now and all I can do is think about the loss we have encountered.
So I hope someone at C.C.P. reads this and gets in contact with me. if you would like the news link on the event I can post it but until I hear from her husband I wish to respect her and her husband by not saying to much.

I want to say thank you to all that have responded and that I/We appriciate all that you have said..
Eve is not just a game its a community that even tho we like to blow each other apart in game we all have a very strong attachment to one another.
Once you get this Robotech thing in your blood its there to stay... |

I want to say that I am in complete aww right now at the ammount of posts that have been replied to this thread.
I want to say Thank-you to the entire C.C.P. staff and memebers of the Eve community for responding.. I Have been incontact with Beachies Daughter ( the one who was shot ) and she say thank you to all of you for your posts..
I was lost for words when I starttd this thread and seeing all these post from the community and the the C.C.P. staff has really made me speechless. It just saddens me that 99% of you have never met or flown with beachie and yet here you all are. Its very emotional for me to even put this into words.
I will try to keep you all informed. And Thank you again.

I agree that would be something that could never bet taken away by anyone and honestly when we die we are supposed to return to the heavens that we fell from.. And what better way to make our journey back to heaven than threw the Eve gate. If C.C.P. did take that idea i would never leave that system.

Thank you All again you all don't know how much this means.
Today she is with her family in Kentucky, I would like to be there with Fordfan and his family to pay my respect to my friend. Unfortunately I am unable to go. But for those of you who have been following the story there is a new article that has been released.

Ladies and Gentlemen I am happy and sad to tell you this but the guy that beachie88 was supposed to testify against was found guilty and sentenced to life with out parole. I once again want to thank you all for your support and letters that Fordfan and I have recieve from you all.
I will keep you posted. Cause many of you American Citizens know that he will appeal the jury and judges desicion.

Beachie you still live in our hearts. We miss you. I personaly miss hearing your voice and cranking up those country tunes to make me laugh and cry. I will never forget you

yes they sent a hole bunch of flowers to her funeral and sent cards and other things that Mr fordfan(her husband) has not told me yet. I haven't spoken to fordfan in about 1 1/2 months for he is still trying to get thing sortted out and still coming to grips with everything.
