This is how I understand it. The guys are at a gatecamp, probably not a lot of traffic...covetor jumps in and they kill him, was probably funny to the guys, but not really worth a forum post.
I had a similar incident, we had a few bc's camping a gate around 3-4am EVE time, was nearly nothing to kill at all when I find a retriever on scan, find out he's at station, warp in and instapop him and go back to the gate. He then sends me a mail that says something like "Wtf did I do to you?". I thought it was hilarious

normally i don't post on forums. So don't expect any answer if you flame me. But after seeing you making fun of a solo covetor (as i understand it) i thought i could add my own little story.
Friend and me are in ibani and spot a solo myrmidon. W T F?
So we engage it and it doesn't shoot back at all. We think it's afk so to hell with it. Soon after the killmail arrived we understand the reason why it couldn't defend itself:

Soon enough we were chased by 2-4 battleships and some other stuff through 10-15 systems(no they didn't get us). I know this is a lame story and i'd never post about it under other circumstances. But seeing the victim is from the same corp as the OP (but it's not the OP!) - i just found it quite hilarious. What you think?

Low sec in the south is fun, I dont even have to agro first.

Strange things happen in lowsec.
Once, during our empire war vs privateers we moved through the ammamake pocket towards Rens.
We were sitting on the outgate when(in ammamake) a covetor arives at the outgate on autopilot(in ammamake) and begins to slowboat towards the gate(did I mention this happened in ammamake?)
At the time the FC ordered us not to engae because we were standing by to jump out and gank a few Privateers, he deemed a 15 minute hold up for one barge was unnecesary.
So this lucky sod got to slowboat all the way to the gate and jump, blissfully unaware that he was surrounded by a bunch of foaming-at-the-mouth, itchy trigger finger types. The term WTF! was used often. It was like a lamb walking unharmed through a den of wolves.
Small consolation was achieved later when we broke up a Rens station camp and only managed to kill a lone thorax who got stuck on station as the rest warped off or docked. Someone on TS was heard to mutter something about giving it all up for a life of crime.

While I still don't understand the exact message of this thread, its kinda funny. AFAIK a Covetor can not fit two mining upgrades without leaving out the third strip miner - in which case one might just as well use a Retriever

I don't know why our 0.0 gang suddenly ended in lo-sec - and I was getting triggerhappy as lead scout. was pretty late at night and I noticed the gate guns a bit late hehe
cost me 80m or something... nerf the shuttles - Dont even think I got him in armor :p
