This is what i have planned for my Hurricane later tonight:
HIGH: 220mm Vulcan Autocannon I 220mm Vulcan Autocannon I 220mm Vulcan Autocannon I 220mm Vulcan Autocannon I 220mm Vulcan Autocannon I 220mm Vulcan Autocannon I Medium Nosferatu II Medium Nosferatu II
MID: 10MN MicroWarpdrive II Stasis Webifier II
LOW: Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II Damage Control II Medium Armor Repairer II Armor Explosive Hardener I Armor Kinetic Hardener I Armor Thermal Hardener I
Now to my questions - I have no clue what my total resists are, could some one plz help me...I guess QF dont work well with Vista! My second question, do you think this setup will do well ratting in 0.0 and missions, even the ocational PvP (with the adition of a scrambler)? I will not go ratting or PvP solo, if that matters at all.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Tips
- Tech 2 nos, webs are worse than named - Your mids should always have: - 10mn MWD II - Medium electrochemical cap booster - Web: X5 webber most econimical for strength - the last slot is either 20km scram or something else for pve - Lows should have 2x MARII EANMII kinII,thermII,expII - with 2 marII you can tank in pvp and pve depending on rat type - cap booster and 2 NAMED nos will give enough cap to PULSE MWD and rep - Try get named guns for more damage but with BC Lvl 4, double damage bonus is fairly good - you can always go vagacane(2LSEII mwd and scram)(2 gyrostab and the rest speed mods) this is pvp

Stasis Webifier II are the same as Fleeting for more cpu and only half the cost. If it fits, use it.
Medium Nosferatu II are the same as Diminishing for only 25 more grid and about half of the cost. If it fits, use it. - BOOST OUTLAWS (-10.0 and proud of it) |

I know that some people like to replace the EANM with a Gyro for gang PvP where the battleship/command ships of the group are likely to be primaried first.

Exactly what I've got, except 6x 220mms IIs
And I haven't decided on the third rig slot, I'm thinking damage/ROF instead of falloff, because a falloff rig on a Maelstrom is good because you can increase range to keep at 24km, while even with increased falloff + Barrage you're short of 20km in the Hurricane. Plus you've only got one Gyro II fitted, might as well get some more damage output. --- in EVE - Idara |

Edited by: Aspirety on 14/05/2007 11:07:57 Thanx for all the input guys, there's a lot of ideas I want to try out. I want to run as much T2 & named as possible, unfortunately my character is not that old so I have to settle for things like T1 turrets and sub-standard armor hardeners...none the less, I do intend to try as many of these suggestions out as I can.
Again, thank you and if you have other suggestions please post them. (Edited for spelling)

If you go pve, you won't need a double repper, so a gank-like fitting does wonders (6*425mm II, 2+ gyros)
You've got a large enough hp buffer to kill any NPC with minimal tanking and a single med rep, any other NPC dies fast.
Same goes with injector, I don't inject in pve, so I go for double web to instapop frigs.

Edited by: AntonioBanderas on 14/05/2007 16:19:43 could someone PLEASE explain to me how in hell do you do missions with AC? AC har REALLY low range. To get in, I must endure HELL of a punishment, becouse in missions i usually fight dosens of crafts, all of them spewing heavy missiles or worse.
I do missions using Arty, hit and run, + speed helps me keep the range. And i STILL have to warp away sometimes (doing low lvl 3 missions)
Oh, I use AC in pvp (well, sparing, haven't really try pvp in my new bc ), when there is less stupp shooting at me.

My guess is that people are using the AC's for belt ratting. They are extremely effective when used in this capacity. _______

With the Cane I and 0.0 ratting which is what they guys asked for, I have been a fan of this set up.
6 425's II 2 med Nos(missiles for extra damage if you want)
MWD Web 2 random mods (cap rechargers if you want missile's up top tracking computer cause I go 425's over 220's for ratting doesn't mater what these are)
MAR II 3 Active Hardeners Rat specific (would go 2 Adaptive nano II and damage control II if I had the skills higher) 2 Gyro II's
This setup has worked for most types of rats the only ones I have had issue with is Garista with the missiles. The point behind the setup is kill your spawn as quick as possible while tanking enough to live.
For PVP drop an active Hardener for MAR II change the other actives to EANP and go web injector then the third slot depends on your gang normally scram.

I've found Nosferatu to be fairly worthless on this vessel for PvE, but I use Artillery and am usually out of range. And I definitely don't like ammo consumption of AC's for PvE.
I use:
6x 650mm Arty II, Salvager, Tractor 10mn AB II, Target painter, 2x Cap Recharger II MAR II, DC II, 2 active hardeners, 2x Gyro II
Rigs: 1x falloff atm, from when I used ACs. But I think 3x CCC rigs are best, so as to recover the mid slots for an extra painter or maybe a webifier or tracking disruptor.
Sometimes I drop a Gyro to fit an extra hardener. If I need to fight Angels, I just get out the Cyclone.
