In the future we will publish the Live Dev Blog on Fridays following the event, so this is the last time it'll take until Monday. We will then add a transcript over the weekend, Monday at the latest. Currently we don't have a transcript ready for this second Live Dev Blog, but it will be added later today.
Please listen to the EVE Backstory Live Dev Blog!

I listened to this live, it was great. Really interesting, and I'm very excited to see what's forthcoming. Kudos especially to Ginger, for making up excellent words like "immersionauts" and "restrictments" on the spot. :D
One little request would be to release these as a podcast so anyone with iTunes or whatever can get them automatically as soon as there's a new one. Would be great. I'd love to listen to Live Dev Blogs on my iPod on the way to work... if I had a job, that is.

Transcript of Live Dev Blog No. 2, May 10
I was a bit slower on this than I originally anticipated, apologies. I imagine this will be hosted on CCP's site too, but for you keen people...
I tried to capture at least partially, what was quite a humorous blog, so forgive the occasional remarks.
Enjoy...Discuss...and as Eris says, be nice to each other.

Oh, and I guess I may as well comment on a few things in the blog itself.
I found it interesting just how much time it takes Abraxas to come out with some of the Chrons. Up to a month!
At first hear of that my initial thoughts were "Jeez, that seems awfully long..." but thinking about it, and listening further, it's clearly evident just how much work goes into actually thinking things through. When you have ultra-picky immersioneers like us, I can understand why! Consistency is important, and fitting it into the overall backstory must take a lot of work that is "hidden" in the final Chron. So, hats off to you guys for taking so much care in the Fic you write.
I'm really keen to see what happens with Missions too, the incorporation of more PF into it I think will be one of the largest and most successful endeavors that brings the low-level immersioneers into the backstory even more. Really, really encouraging thing to see. So "little" (I imagine it's a ton of work, but you get me) but such a big change from it is likely over time. So kudos for that idea, and hope you guys develop it well. I'm hoping that all the fiction within missions is slowly made available by the players (hoping even more that it's done via stories in the Library! RAWR!!!) so that we can all benefit from it, mission-runners or not.
Faction Warfare sounds good too, was encouraged to hear some implications that it will be "unfolded" in various phases. That's the way it should be tbh, and will allow you guys to monitor the overall progress as you get player feedback on what works and what doesn't, and make it a better experience overall.
I could ramble more...but that'll do me for now...Thankies for the Blog, it was a very fun one, and packed with all sorts of exciting info!

Originally by: Zombie Nooey I found it interesting just how much time it takes Abraxas to come out with some of the Chrons. Up to a month!
IIRC, that was in reference to the time it would take to publish a two-parter, based on the fact that we publish a new chronicle every two weeks. The time it takes me to write a single piece is usually a week or two, depending on what other projects I'm working. I do put in a lot of work, a good deal of which won't necessarily be apparent on the first read, but I don't take a month to do it.
I do, however, regularly plan things months in advance, even more so now that we've started tying the chronicles more into live events. I just finished a piece today that probably won't get published until late summer.

They might well be planning a Civil War to happen between the Regency Council and/or the different Houses.
An interesting live blog, although a bit -- deliberately -- vague.

Although im sure your aware that we were just making a small attempt at humour there, we do have plans.
In fact, since the Dynamic Content team was founded, and before that we have had a Big Plan (tm). I have seen it with my own eyes, we lock it away in a big vault.
Its shiny.
