Over and over, regardless of the topic, there are a few posts that are the same in almost all the topics open in this thread:
1. *snip*
2. Capital blobs are unfair. (faulty game mechanics and stuff comes to mind)
3. Titans are unfair - for a thousand reasons from the most paranoid (ccp made the titans specially for bob) to the "resonable" calculated ones that tested puting only officer rechargers on every titan slot just to proove the point.
SO
Let's not derail every damn topic with these things and talk about these issues in here...
(i use the term talk loosely... the coalition are free to whine ofcourse)
To get the ball rolling, ill express my personal point of view in regards to each of the points:

Now onto capitals:
Capitals blobs can't be killed, small alliances can't compete, they dont have the isk the skills and this will kill the small gang combat.
Well ppl have said that when battleships started to apear, then when t2 ships have come into play.
Second... would be that in a small gang... you wouldnt have to worry about a capital ship 99% of the time... as it can't do anything to you.
third, without support, a capital fleet is pretty useless and can be countered rather easy.
So, battleships still have a role, support ships still have a role and capital ships alone are close to useless.
Titans - and the nerfbat
Agreed, titans need some adjusting... im not going to claim i know the right solution, as there are too many things to consider... atleast for me.
BUT that is not to say OMG I CAN'T PLAY EVE BCOUSE TITANS ARE IN GAME
That is for morons or just an excuse.
Too many ppl are concerned about what can be done with a titan, rather than see what is being done with the titans.
more than once, bob has shown that they can still kill capital ships under DD from ET, and tough we lost ships in doing so, the overall outcome was balanced in our favour so yes it can be done.
This would be the short version... but i will reply to most of the comments and replyes... or try to before it goes outof hand

I was expecting more from this thread.
Think I agree that there are too many posts that copy what someone else posted 2 days earlier or sometimes even 2hrs earlier under a different title.
Supercapitals will get changed as more and more ppl get them it does make combat difficult because they are so uber but Titans are the perfect anti-blob tool and CCP want more ways to decrease blob warfare so the doomsday is by far here to stay.
Like the new idea of these covert bombers that can wipe out a dread in 3 or 4 shots though... that'll make things very intersting lol.

Although your topic is pure flamebait :), I gotta say I agree.
But put yourself in their position. They have more people, they had the advantage of being the force on the offensive, they have similar numbers of super capitals, they as they claim have no problem whatsoever to replace their capital ship losses within days, they think they have the morale high ground, and BoB doesnt have any allies, but only useless pets that cant do anything.
Yet, the "alliance" is conquering stations in the north, and no real achievements have been made.
So you could either blame your own tactics, your attitude, your understanding of game mechanics and your organization...or you say BoB is cheating, BoB allies are corrupt pets and titans are unfair.
For some the 2nd option seems to be the better one.
PS:Uh yeah, I of course dont speak for my alliance but merely myself!

We probably need a ship between a battleship and a capital ship. Where are t2 battleship already!

Well I think a T2 BS will also most likely be able to naturally tank a doomsday if it has HAC level resistances.

Tell you what. Let's put a straight up limit on fleet value based on what it would cost to buy the fleet with GTC's (which I'm not claim BoB is engaged in). Lets say we make this cap $20,000 in any one fight. That's 1.5 Titans or 40 well fit dreads. Now lets see who wins. Really when you put together a Blob that has a value more than a house do you really expect anyone to come out and play with you.
BTW nice carebearing to get the 100K superblob there.

Yup and with invention people cant whine about t2 battleships not being available to them. Those who are not lazy will benefit.
Also those t2 battleships will likely have some kind of role other than damage dealers. They could have mini siege mode ot anti-capital ship devices or something... you never know..
Point is the sky sure as hell aint falling with more capital ships being introduced. A viable counter at the apropriate price will be available at some point.

IMHO which I am sure means nothing here on these forums the arms race has already in full tilt so If ya want to surive in 00 space ya need to get that cap ship program a going
