Its the owners of the game world who decide how it is to be played. If they say its illegal, then it is illegal. Therefore their actions are immoral.
Take the hint farmers. Go away. _________________________________________________________

ISK sellers can easily be defeated:
Don't buy ISK Don't encourage anyone to buy ISK Don't tolerate ISK buyers in your corp Don't tolerate ISK buyers in your alliance
Don't buy ISK.

......
........ and?
Do you see those white machines in the cornors of the rooms? Those are air conditioners. Most chinese work places and homes DO NOT EVEN HAVE THEM. All I see are a bunch of 20ish year old guys farming in games in typical looking chinese internet cafe rooms. No whips, no one forcing them to stay there etc.
You don't like it that some of them are not wearing shirts, or the internet cafes do not look as professional as western ones? Tough. But that has nothing to do with slave labor or making people work in unsafe conditions etc. Most farmers work 8-10 hours per day, 5 or 6 days per week. This is standard in China. Unlike in western countries, workers in China get ONE FULL PAID MONTH off each Chinese New Year, an also a paid week off each Labor day, and a paid week off each October. From our points of veiw, YOU are the ones slaving away for your bosses. You are wearing a tie while doing it and your office is more professional looking...that's it.
Again, get it out of your head that 'gold farming' and 'sweatshops' have anything to do with eachother.

Has anyone heard anything further about this spot?
It's a crying shame that NPR can offer up a 'lets support criminals (sic)' radio spot but completely ignore the other side (i.e. the 'murderers') even via editorial response.

Perhaps, if you're a conservative. They provide news, however, which is something that the 'conservative radio' does not. All they do is talk... and talk... and talk...
Granted, they make good points sometimes, but now and then the libs do too. But I don't enjoy listening to some emo fat dude addicted to painkillers ranting alllllll day long.

Neither do I. But it just seems hypocritical to say NPR is news while Fox isn't, or vice versa. They both suck.

Ok I will say this again...If your corps and alliances would mine their own minerals...there would'nt be isk farmers in the belts. If 'sombody did'nt buy isk from them, then there would be no market for them to exploit.

so chinese goldfarmers can feel its their right to farm games even though its against all games rules, and they feel they should be able to do it to the extent that they can make a living doing it. chinese in general are the most greedy most selfish society ever to grace the planet. its the same kind of attitude that lets them think they deserve to eat the wang off a tiger. chinese are a nasty culture and havent done much for the betterment of mankind at all. if you cant tell i think chinese suck. GO TAIWAN!!!

The way I see it is this, gold farmers are pretty much doing something inethical, like cutting the line at an amusement park. But then again, so are the people who buy them. If you're free to make a fuss in public, you're free to commit online murder or whatever the game mechanics allow to prevent it from happening.

This actually has some merit. The Chinese have little respect for cleanliness, your safety and morals in general. They're usually out to make a quick buck here and there. Fake eggs and pet food. If you took a walk in any place in China other than Beijing you'll find human waste in public areas. If you visit please stick to the cities and bring pepto bismol because getting sick is inevitable.
