Until a few days ago my camera tracking worked fine. A ship jumps into your system, you click on it and it follows the direction of their warp. This is where it changed. It used to stay on the gate that they warped to, now it goes back to my ship after they are off grid.
Is there a fix or a workaround?
Remember, all trolls go to Hek.

Have been posting about these since the last update both in issues forum and the patch issues thread. Still no response from ccp. For this camera issue it happened once in the past as well and was fixed so I assume someone broke something when they were "fixing" another camera issue.

CCP is too busy adding more means of monetization to the game. They even dont patche their bugs anymore. SAD.
Down with Hilmar, we need democracy and freedom. Call Trump, say Hilmar have weapons of mass destruction (of the game code).

Just don't use it? Let's face it, honestly the last time CCP touched the camera they should have just left it alone...too many broken, unfinished, and/or infuriating "features" added to replace a working design for maybe one or two gimmicky ones we didn't have before. Top notch.
Seriously, though, best thing you can do is bug report it in game if you feel it's a bug. If you're lucky, it is and CCP will look into it. If not, well you did what you could at least.

in the settings there are options like dynamic camera stuff
not sure if switching the camera options off will help |

Doesnt. As mentioned this was working fine until the small update they made a shortwhile back that was supposed to fix an issue with the camera breaking. They've broken something with tracking camera in the process. Bug reports have also been submitted.

Yeah, it's not part of Dynamic Camera. The tracking camera functions the same irrespective of that option's toggled state.

Well then you are either blind or wearing blinkers.....they are straight on the way to do this....
And this is EXACTLY what some people said MONTHS ago and those people were insulted as "overreacting nerds" that just don't see that "ccp has a plan"....well their "plan" comes into light now.......the slowly re-construction of eve inro a non-special-at-all Ftp game....
It's so obvious that i'm asking myself why people like you don't WANT to see this...
