If we see sizeable fleets during our main prime time, we usually do our best to find them and get an engagement. It's not a chore, or something we find tedious, it's the whole point. So, if goons were actually fielding sizeable fleets around the clock, there'd be lots of stuff to shoot at, which is always good.

We want a fight, we don't want spam. The only real way we can see to get that, is to take a system you value, it's to take it in such a way that you cannot spam it. To take it in such a way that, if you want it back, you have to deploy your capital ships.
In short, you have to fight us.
Originally by: TWD After finishing the 8th goon large POS in the last few days, about 35 goon capitals jumped into 9-9 at one of their POS. Part of them were outside the shields.
We had a few less capitals, but decided to warp to that POS and engage the hostile capitals. Once we did that, around 20 RA/AAA capitals logged on next door, so we jumped out when we were about to face 2:1 odds. We lost 3 allied capitals in the process.
Seems the TWD's "reality" does not match very well the heroic forum warrior posture.
You forget one important quote, that invalidates your entire post. The one where it states that for Goonswarm to retake 9-9, they have to siege POS. Perhaps the reason BoB dropped all those POS in the system, is to force you to use your cap fleet to retake the system, so that they can engage and destroy it.
TWD states what happened. You try to spin it as though BoB is a suicidal band of ******s who risk their capital fleet at 2:1 odds and little hope of survival. BoB prides itself on efficiency, they kill much more then they lose, which means that they have to spend less money on production, logistics, and their enemies have to spend more. It makes more sense to retreat then to lose a large amount of capitals for no gain. Discretion is the better part of valor.
One more thing. 3 months is a very short war. If it takes BoB 3 months to take all of your station systems, they have spent less time then the coalition spent removing LV from their space. I don't remember the exact timeline of the ASCN war, but it lasted more then three months (at least I think it did.) - - -
