Now the funny think about this statement is it is a bit confused. By correctly spotting this is a video game the alt is attempting to belittle DBP by suggesting he takes it too seriously. Disagree. This is first fight in a lot of long fights. Neither side is going to be *****ed and folded after one battle. Like Molle said this is the start of the real war, previous stuff was just posturing.

Not a single goonswarm capital lost, because bob panicked and ran away. At least 3 of those BoB pilots were mothership pilots too. BoB doesn't want a good fight, they want to win. The only way they're capable of doing it against Goonswarm is to POS spam, and grief them with the incredibly awesome supercapital mechanics until they get sick of the game and quit.

I'll try to help out the guy that started this post by presenting a little more info on the 9-9 situation as he probably is actually interested in what has been going on and not in all the flaming.
After securing Feyth BoB have launched an offensive against the Goon station in 9-9. The assault began last week and still continues with heavy amounts of fighting every day. As posted earlier, BoB have managed to secure the majority of the moons in system and sov will drop on Thursday.
The fighting has not been exactly battle report worthy per se as it has been mostly goon frigs and cruisers getting DD'd by the boat load and small scale skirmishes all day long.
RA have come to support their allies in both a support and capital role. Evil Thug has also been around the area along with a few RA super caps. Capital losses have been relatively low for the time being as no pitched conflict has yet resulted. Yesterday, Goons went on a sort of counter attack using the bulk of their cap fleet for the first time (around 33 caps) which BoB was willing to engage.
BoB were not willing to engage the goons and 20 RA caps that logged on in a nearby system at the same time however and were forced to retreat. In the process we and our allies lost 3 cap ships. RA and goons have lost a handful of cap shi[s here and there for less notable reasons and BoB lost one carrier yesterday as a result of a Coalition super cap bowling him from a POS while afk at work.
The majority of large ship kills (BS) at least for goons was early in the campaign but goons have begun to get into smaller and smaller vessels en masse making things actually quite boring despite the large amount of kills on the BoB KB.
As you can see, this has been far from an epic battle yet, emphasis on yet, but could very well turn into one at any time.
Hopefully this will help shed some light on the subject for you AFTRUNX and make it a semi worthwhile thread read after all the flaming

Sorry, you are right. How can we ever apologise? In future we will give you advance warning when we are going to attack. Maybe send you a telegram or something. It'll give you a chance to mount a defence when you feel threatened instead of doing what every other 0.0 dwelling entity does and mount a 24/7 vigil against possible attacks.
And then, once you're good and ready, we'll send our fleet in against you a single ship at a time. And tell you what ship it is in local. And then go AFK in warp. With an owl!
Hmmm... Owls. I like owls. Why is there no Caldari ship called an Owl? |
