Ahhhhhhhhh! Fabuleux has been having a Fabuleux time here on the Intergalactic summit! Fabuleux feared he would be tossed aside by the mighty the capsuleers that roam this forum! But instead, they have welcomed Fabuleux! They have been gently and friendly to Fabuleux! It warms my heart that Fabuleux is accepted among the gods!
But Fabuleux also wants his business to be accepted among the gods! As such, Fabuleux must make Fabuleux Trends a brand they can trust. Fabuleux would suggest you visit our many new departments scattered throughout the Federation. But you can only trust the fabric if you trust the designer! Fabuleux has heard the tales of how trust is the most valuable currency in the cluster. How you can either hold onto it to increase its value or cash in for your own advantage...Capsuleers value trust. Fabuleux knows this!
You do not trust a man you don't know. You may like Fabuleux's face and fashion. But do you like who Fabuleux is?Fabuleux will open his mind up to any Capsuleer wanting to know about Fabuleux! No matter how embarrassing or tragic! Fabuleux will provide any answer you seek so that Fabuleux can earn your trust.

If you could somehow convince the guys operating NES to give us something other than just T-shirts, robes and armour and decorative spectacles and give us something with more character like, I don't know, anything avant garde you could come up with or perhaps some traditional costumes for various cultures (because seriously, the only traditional costumes I am seeing in the NES are all Amarrish), that will be great.
A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

Bah! Fabuleux can not staaaaaaaand those that run the NES! They shoo'd Fabuleux away when Fabuleux came showing off the Fabuleux trend's catalog! Fabuleux was not important enough at the time! Fabuleux didn't have any capsuleer connections to promote Fabuleux's wares! Fabuleux would be a profit loss!
But now Fabuleux is accepted among Capsuleers! Fabuleux will walk into the boardroom looking Fabuleux as usual and demand change to the NES.

Fabuleux remembers this couple that would attend Fabuleux's showcases. They were always so happy! Never killing the mood with their plentiful nonsense! Fabuleux tolerated their presence long enough to become close with them. They became close with Fabuleux too. So close that they opened up more of their lives with Fabuleux...
One fireplace, two bottles of wine and the three of us made for a..Fabuleux combination. Fabuleux remembers the hardened abs of the hard working Civire man and the soft lips of the Amarrian queen that ruled the House. The emotion was in the air and it intoxicated Fabuleux.
But when the lady of the house's parents learned of our triangle they took her back home to the Empire..Left a note for Fabuleux to never try to seek her out again. The Civire Fabuleux lost contact with...At least Fabuleux still has a sock of his to remember him..

Fabuleux insures only the highest quaility material shipping in across the cluster get to imitate Fabuleux's designs! But before you even see the holy Designs of Fabuleux. You must prove to Fabuleux you can even handle crafting such advanced creations.
Think of Fabuleux's designs as "blueprints" too. Fabuleux researches every design he creates to improve it in production. Waterproof, strong weaves, perfect flexibility and soon Fabuleux will unlock the secrets to make them fireproof! Soon darling! Soon!

Yes...Fabuleux was naughty and took it from his bedside one morning when i was getting dressed. My two companions were already up creating another one of the fabuleux breakfasts they make! It warmed Fabuleux's heart learn that he was loyal to Fabuleux by wearing Fabuleux trend socks. I..endluged myself with one quick taste of the scent and experienced the day the man had. You could just smell the hard work he was doing in the office.
But he came back to the room to tell Fabuleux that breakfast was ready. Fabuleux slipped the sock quickly into Fabuleux's pants so that he wouldn't see such peverse behavior from Fabuleux.
We enjoyed a meal and it was time for us to return to our responsibilities. Fabuleux only realized he still had the sock is when Fabuleux returned home...Fabuleux was too shy and embarrassed to admit what he had done so Fabuleux just kept the sock...But that tended to feed into Fabuleux's temptations for something more than quick sniff.

Fabuleux believes that Capsuleers are the true gods. Gods Fabuleux does not pray too, just know that exsit and can either be bringers of peace and prosperity or death and destruction.
As for the afterlife? Fabuleux is uncertain if there really is one? How does anyone know? Has anyone returned from the afterlife to tell Fabuleux about it's existence? No..None an say if there is a afterlife. Fabuelux only hopes that its Fabuleux.

Are we still gods if we can die? (We can. We do. It's not hard. It's not rare.)
Can gods retire? ( After we do, we're not likely to be any more immortal than any really rich person in this time we live in: our pseudo-immortality's a product of usually dying under ideal cloning conditions. Average capsuleer career length: about a year, I think, but that's probably old data. If someone's got updated information, please share?)
If we were gods, would we be qualified to hold such a position? (If not, it'll probably be pretty short-lived.)
... If I sound a little hostile to the idea that we're gods, well, I am. I've seen first-hand the resentment of baseline humanity towards those they perceive as immortal, even if we're all about to die together. It's not just a certain Gallentean journalist, though he was definitely noisy about it. It's nearly everyone.
We've been known, in the past, as "gods of destruction." That phrase seems to have kind of dropped out of favor, and that seems like a good thing to me. Embracing this kind of idea, even for aesthetic or marketing reasons, seems like it brings us closer, step by step, to someone deciding to practice a really proactive form of atheism:
"This day, all gods die." |

Fabuleux will put it like this - A artist needs to know and understand what exists in reality. Then he would have something to compare to what he finds in the abyss when looking for something original.

Ah! Fabuleux appreciates this kind and generous offer! But first Fabuleux must crate something that would not offend the establishment of a Capsuleer.

Way Fabuleux sees it like this. You have a soul in which is attuned to a body. Once that body is destroyed your soul drifts there..but if another body like your exist. Your soul kind find refuge there..But thought the wonders of science you have the power of a god!
Its more about the power darling. You are creators and destroyers. Fabuleux has heard all about the legendary Keepstars erected by Capsuleer legions! At the same time, heard the tales of those same structures being destroyed by swarms of Capsuleers. What is created by a god can only be destroyed by another. You compete against one another for more power and influence.
That is what Fabuleux admires about Capsuleers. Your power

... but human beings generally are creators and destroyers.
Even you: definitely a creator. But also maybe something of a destroyer-- if only of your competitors' designs, when you achieve success and acclaim at their expense. Have you never watched a rival's career crumble?
And it's not like we're indestructible just because we fly high-performance, capsuleer-constructed ships; baseliners do manage to kill capsuleer craft.
Also, we're a little vulnerable to sabotage. I'm kind of a shadow of the person I used to be, an echo ... though that's maybe for the best. The person who did that to me, who stripped away my memories and much of my identity and sense of self with them, was almost definitely a baseliner.
You're not wrong: we do have power-- kind of maybe too much of it, really.
We're powerful people. But that's just the thing: there's nothing new about humans, fallible, mortal human beings, holding others' lives in their hands.
Or, I guess, designers catering to such people.
Oh well.
(I really wish you wouldn't characterize us as gods, but I guess it would be strange if a person such as yourself didn't go for the dramatic telling.) |
