A respectable corp thief would take at least 1 billion ISK, or so. This noob stole ~5 mill ISK's worth of T1 modules, a truly laughable amount that does not damage the corp and does not improve his wealth to any significant extent. In other words, it was a complete waste of his time! It is ironic that DKI, a newish pirate corp known for its noob pirates, has its very own noob corp thief. It's funny that the amount was so small, and yet he still thought the theft was worthwhile.

He was a member for about two weeks and was also handed basic hangar rights to our 'free for Corp" hangar. Not long after we were wardecced by a two man griefer corp. So to cut a long story short, our intrepid ~~bungler~~ burglar waited till the day the war went live and then made his escape in a bestower with around 5-10 mill in similar crappy modules from our loot hangar. He then made his escape, proudly proclaiming in corp chat that he had ripped us noobs off good. He made it about one jump before the wardeccers(both of em) caught him, popped him and podded him. He then proceeded to whine for a day and a night in corp chat until his roles dropped and he could leave, under the circumstances we wouldent have dreamed of kicking him, because he had set his clone to the station our local office was in...a station which sadly for him contained no clone bay. What was his name again?? Scorpius or something like that. Anyway I laughed so hard I nearly cried.

The vast majority though are the same type of good for nothing scum that plague many online games. These people would steal the car outside your house just as they would steal your isk in game or your acount if they had the chance. I am however perfectly calm, but still think they should be (calmly) dragged out and baseball batted too death.

So because someone steals from a corp ingame they're more than likely to rob you in the real world? Corp thieves don't plague this game, this game allows corp thieving as a valid profession. So people choose to go this route and good luck to them, thats what makes Eve so much more interesting in that this sort of thing goes on and it is allowed and well within the spirit of the game. My one character is a murderer/pirate, does that mean I kill people in real life?
