I think they stopped queues because of a bug I've just read about on Eve Reddit:
People subbed a alpha for one month only, but left a long training queue on the char.
Char went back from Omega to Alpha but SP didn't stop, so they can farm SP from a char that is not actually a Omega.
People made huge amount of ISKS using the BUG cheating CCP and cheating all honest players.
Honest players seems to be enraged for it, I'm honest player and if it really happend I hope CCP will ban all exploiters forever.... |

All of my 6 accounts are on pause + my 2 chars that have an additionall skillqueue open. I hope i get sp for the additional skillqueues too they are expensive  |

Stop pausing my queues and just fix the ghosting issue. We all know why your doing it. "As soon as we spot the culprit" Haha ya right.

Probably not, but if it happens to another account or again at all, throw them a support ticket. In all likelihood, they have quite a few of them stacked up already.

Likely once they've figured out what went wrong and implemented any actions they need to prevent it from happening again. For now, something like that is low enough priority that it will be a few days before that can even be decided on.

I'll lay good odds this is due to an attempt to stop 'Ghost Training'.
In which case - it's worked!!!!! 
It could be potentially an interesting move if CCP then just gave everyone who's actually paid, something like 50k SP each day to spend as people wished instead.......
Forget queues - just spend evry day you login.

All 4 of my paid accounts - with double training on 2 of those - had stopped.
Oddly none of my Alpha accounts had paused at all, so if it is an attempt to nerf ghost training it's spectacularly failed. |
