Lagartija Nick was one of Dire Trucking's founding officers, but opted to leave the game (for World of Warcraft) nearly two years ago. Five days ago, he rejoined Eve and was re-admitted to our corp immediately with standard member access, once we verified that the same person was behind the account. However, Nick has discovered that as Eve changes, the nature of corporations change as well. Nick feels that Dire's attitude has deviated from that of two years ago, and wishes to recoup his percieved investment into the corp and exit it. To that end, three days ago, Nick emptied all corp hangars that he could access and attempted to ransom the contents for 2 billion isk, with which he intends to start a new business venture. Nick was only able to take our "newb" hangars consisting of tech 1 ships, modules, and low-end skillbooks that we donate to our younger members. No mission-critical items -- BPOs, capital ships, or POS structures -- were taken. We have estimated the worth of the stolen gear at roughly one billion isk at current Jita prices, due to the sheer numbers of extremely low-value items; however, since our business has not been impacted in any way (save for time spent dealing with drama) we have estimated that we can recoup the loss within one week or less. As such, Dire Trucking has opted to reject his ransom demands and will continue operation as normal. Informants have told us that Nick intends to start a new corporation in the Aldik system (Derelik region) using the stolen material. King Midas	Posted - 2007.05.19 02:35:00 - [6] hhmmm...so front is back eh..no pun intended...Front was his toon that he used when i first started eve...he brought in a bunch of us as noobs...then took some time off ...then came back and took all the corp stuff and disbanded the corp paying each of us a measly payout (1m i think). seems to be a pattern here....btw..he also has a toon named book. and just for kicks?..has hebe come back with him? used to be his girl friend..cant remember her new toon's name ..although..i might could look it up for ya. watch out for em ppl..they seem to be good at pushing ppl around to get what they want.

DE When I took my break from the game Dire Trucking was a small communist corp (by My, and my soon to be wife's design) where members had no personal property or isk, and it was all invested in the whole. I put over 4 billion isk into the corp wallet in two years ago isk, as well as nearly every ship and module you can possibly imagine into the hangar. Now, fast forward two years, CCP changed CEO's on a petition (against our will) and the new CEO has since comepletely changed the corporate culture to the point where on my return I was completely denied access to anything of value (even though it was our corp to begin with mind you) and only given access to absolute trash that these folks didn't want. So, yes, I admit that I indeed took their toss-off modules and ships, of which there are about 1.5-2 billion isk worth, but did so to recoup my losses from complete asshats. I can say with 100% absolute knowledge that I will never take part in any corp theiving again. Its not my style, but as far as I am concerned here, the people in charge of Dire Trucking truly did steal a whole corp from the few members it did have when those of us who put the actual work in left eve for a break.

Thats funny, If you are talking about ISIA, that corp was full of good-for-nothing leeches who were totally abusing the open structure of the corp. Everything in that corporate hangar (as with the ISK) was sold and distributed evenly. We didn't profit a cent from that failed venture. Dire Trucking was started fresh, with absolutely no benefit of any previous gains in eve. Midas, you got a measly payout because that is all that was left in that corp. These are two totally different situations.

Our new corp is called Detheroc Allied Miners Union Ticker: DAM-U for those interested, and yes, we have a crappy office in aldik, but probably will not be staying there. Now you too have the same uber-l33t informants that Namamai has!
