The less likely you are in gang to be primaried, swop invul fields for TP's. Works very nicely in tandem with TP manticores and basilisks.

This ship is an EW platform people! Realize that, its a scorpion with more dps. By which 600 dps with implants and the ability to chose damage type is > than a 1000 dps Mega with kinetic damage and omg hold still I have to be right next to you to hit.
600 dps at 0km or 249km. What other ship in the game can boast 600 dps at 249km? let alone hit at that range. This ship laughs at turrets boats. "You cant hit me"
Look the simple truth is this ship is not for everyone. PVE with it, or get ready to spend over a year training specifically for what it specializes in. Anything else is an insult to the best pvp ship in the game!

Anyway, throwing the concept of a shieldtanked raven out the window because it can be used as a long range dps/ecw platform is just hamstringing yourself, the raven is a boat that can perform many other roles than that.
In small roaming gangs I'd take a shield tanked torp raven any day of the week, you'll be within range more often than not to put that extra dps to good use.
Secondly you can make an excellent lowsec solo boat out of it, an injected torp raven with cheap fittings costs >30mil to loose and can take on allcomers.
Ravens are interesting ships, they can fit in a myriad of ways. The only type that I don't like are the armor-tanked variations.

imho that is too long of a list for such low dps Megathron with same type of gank setup skills and implants would be doing +1400 dps now thats nearly two of your gank ravens and all it needs is that the target is webbed, if ur in a gang and the target is not triple webbed wich means hes doing 0,5% of his orignal speed( 10km/s ship would be doing 50m/s) other ways there is something wrong with the gang ur.
About the bait part, its a bad bait it cant tank and warp/web ppl it cant get away its expensive though it is a good bait in that sense since the enemy sees a big easy target to kill but they are gonna warp out as soon as u see u coming into the grid.
Hm a few things here.
800 DPS = 6x siege-II, spec skill 4, all other missile DPS (rof/dmg) related skills at 5, 3% ROF implant, battleship 5. Add in a set of hammerhead IIs with interfacing 5 and voila close to 800 DPS.
Second, baiting in 0.0 often doesnt need tackle. If they sit in their own bubble htye are screwed the second they aggro. No need to carry silly mods like web/scram on a gang pvp battleship.
Third. DPS is always theoretical. That 1400 DPS gankathron will
a) be alot more expensive than my raven
b) be susceptible to tracking disruption
c) have a ****ty optimal range
