You know, this post really stood out to me. It is rather close to the truth. We like winning, like anybody else, but I for one take a bit of (admittedly egotistical) pride in knowing that we do what we do despite of our size, and make a habit of not making excuses. When our space came under attack by a numerically superior force, we prepared for the worst, hoped for the best, locked and loaded. Some of our opponents have done the same, and some haven't. At the risk of sounding like an EVOL alt (maybe I am  . If you are my main, please claim me at the front registers), you adapt to circumstances, favorable or unfavorable, or you don't make it. D2 isn't done yet, and they still have resources and people. Believe me when I say we haven't written them off, but it is my sincere hope that they show more fight than they have thus far, because, frankly, win or lose, I would hope everyone has more fun in the end that way.
Warning: Corp gushing ahead. If you have a problem with it...well then that's your problem, now ain't it? 
Also, I want to take this opportunity to give my corp a big, slobbery kiss. When I took over as CEO in February, I knew that I was working with an immensely talented, intelligent group of people, but you guys never cease to amaze me. Your dedication to the ideals and goals of the MC, despite our relatively young corp age (just about seven months now) is astonishing. I have a wonderful team of directors, without whom I would have thrown my hands up in frustration long ago. It also makes me chuckle to see some of the names in the "Death of MC" thread with their new sigs . Also, recruitment is closed  .
Also, Mynas Atoch is a golden god.
