Not arsed about the nos tbqfh, as it does little to help. More interested in the extra damage from the magstabs and extra resists from the TS EANMs. Plus I'm not using the CPU turret implant due to the Slave Omega, or armoured warfare mindlink.. I forget which one uses the same slot as the CPU implant ---------------

Blatent rip-off of Jin but what the heck
Relatively cheap, no slave implants, no 5% hardwirings (just a few 3% hardwirings). Hits like a runaway freight train, and if you did happen to replace that 3% damage implant with a 5% one you'd hit a damage mod of 11.01628481x for that extra e-peen...
...it it kind of sucks for my purposes - no self repair ability, trip to station after every battle. ----------

Originally by: lawmi Is the heavy injector actually needed now? I'm wondering if its viable to fit a heavy neut and a medium injector for additional mayhem
If you're going for a repless setup, you really might as well go for a med injector. You probably need the CPU savings, and the only thing you're using the cap for is to keep guns & tackle kit running, which is easily managed by just a medium.
Neutron blaster cannons are fun because I find you can hit hostile battleships with surprising reliability up to 30km or so with Null loaded. Goes a long way towards offsetting the relative tubbiness of the setup. ------ Director, No Quarter "There is no problem that cannot be solved by the judicious application of violence." |

Thats interesting because I'm of the mindset that on the Navy Megathron a nanobot-rigged active tank is better - mainly because the extra low gives you the opportunity to get very high resists and still maintain a damage mod.
If we are using a 'reasonable' faction repper without being decadent (after all NM's are under 500m these days, don't see the point uber-pimping it), then you're cycling over 1300 per rep + 80% all-round resists.
Of course you have to drop to Electrons/Ions if you're going to use this setup - with the range reduction this entails. But as you wont be packing 2/3 plates thats becomes less of an issue and the DPS is not massively reduced.
You can sustain a tank of well over 1,000 raw DPS whilst the cap injectors last, and kick out about 850DPS. Not too shabby.

Well havent seen this setup yet. I use this because its always worked for me and in a bs 1v1 its proved very effective and im using no implants.
Highs
7x Heavy Neutron II 1x Med Neutralizer II
Mids
1x Web II 1x Warp disrupter II 1x 100mn MWD II 1x Med Cap Booster II
Lows
1x Damage Control II 6x Reinforced Bulkheads II
Rigs
1x Hybrid Collision Accelerator 1x Sentry Damage Augmentator
Dronebay
5x Garde II
35762 Hull HP, with 60% resists across the board. From Experience it beats an armor tanked Mega.

This has been mentioned before, but I've come up with this on my own as well before I found this thread, so it's gotta say something:
7x Neutron Blaster Cannon II with Void L (Null L stowed in the cargo hold)
100MN MWD II Med electrochem injector with 800s Fleeting web Faint warp prohibitor
Damage Control II EANM II 2x 1600mm RT plates 3x Magstab II
2x Trimark armor pumps, 1x Hybrid damage mod rig. (yes yes, stacking penalty. But it still adds a fair bit, due to the huge base that it's got to work with. I couldn't decide between this or Tracking, since he optimal and falloff bonuses just aren't that tempting.)
Drones I'm still undecided on. In a gang with some smaller ships, I'd probably take 5x T2 heavies. If it was myself and another BS, I'd probably take a 4 heavy/5 light split, I dunno. I'm considering the heavy ECM drones as they've always done well by me in the past.
I can pop an unpiloted Domi without mods in 4 volleys on the test server without drones, and it wrecks up to 1700. No one in my alliance wants to be a guinea pig for me :(...Not that I blame them.

Edt: Helps if you switch the damage control on...
Oh and overloading the turrets on a target is hilarious…
What skills do you have, because I'm trying to fit the same thing but running into issues with powergrid. My engineering is at 5 though...

Neutron 'throns will hit fairly solidy out to almost 30km with Null, as stated. People tend to not know that, and get surprised when they are half dead by the time I get to my optimal range.
It's also one of the reasons I have a AB instead of a MWD on my Navythron. I get a lot of flack about it, but my only worry is getting caught having to run away from a fight, and to be honest, I'm not going anywhere without a scout in my Navythron :p
But the good old Neutron Thron is my mainstay PVP ship. I'll fly it even after every kid on the block outdamages me in a torp raven. **** 'em, ravens are *** :p
