TheWrit	Posted - 2007.05.21 04:55:00 - [1] Explain in full , why a player can come into a belt (high sec) and take or from the miner , flash red , have miner's drones on him , he warps out to a STATION for safe haven ???? Totally would never happen in real world , be real . CCP preaches realness in-game , and the crimes against humanity spew . But yet this happens , and the poor miner takes a security hit too boot , not the criminal . WFT ???? That's fair and just. I thought there are laws in high sec space , guess i was wrong . Sad! Maybe i should say to hell with EVE and cancel 3 accounts , it's getting to be over-the-top now . Herd the sheeple to PvP , another sad story of an otherwise great game . Fly fast , kill 'em all ! ....Oh , and steal freely !

Explain, in full, how large numbers of invincible, omnipotent policemen can turn up within a few seconds and always instantly know who to shoot, and never hit any bystanders. How real do you want it? Easily You can easily fit a empty nylon bag in your pocket, but try to put it in when it is full. As a cheap nylon bag the jetcan wear fast enough, but it live long enough to do his job.

Sparta Alliance	Posted - 2007.05.21 08:41:00 - [15] As I have another character that's a miner I've never had a problem with ore thieves nor have I disagreed with how they play the game. I don't agree that jetcan mining is an exploit, as otherwise CCP would have something to say about it. It does suit miners as it's the most profitable way to mine with a single character, but on the other hand does allow for pesky ore thieves to come and take what they can. Miners have ways to protect their ore from being stolen (GSCs), and a way to seek retribution if they still go ahead and mine into a jetcan. Simple. Best idea is if you have more than one account use a hauler and simply mine into that.

I think the real problem is the container stays minuscule even when filled with 27000 m^3 of stuff Bu you do bring up an interesting point I hereby propose that jetcans should be replaced by jetbags. Mylar sacks that dynamically scale to the size of their contents! With fabric physics!

Secure cans whilst not as efficient are secure so you have to weigh up the pros and cons of both. If you go with Jetcans then you can hardly complain about it being stolen. What you miners really want is secure jetcan mining where you can be 100% safe in high sec, well high sec as designed by CCP was never meant to be 100% safe, and besides you have secure cans so why not use those? Oh mining with those is not as efficient? Well there you go - Risk vs Reward. Before the flagging rules you had no way to protect your ore, and now you do and you still whine. You make me sick. I'm sure you're all too willing to get CCP to nerf ore thieving and high sec piracy, but these are valid professions and are no less or no more important than mining! Self, self, self, thats all you carebears think about. But you all carry on as you did before and never learn from your mistakes or try to adapt, and whine whine whine when things go wrong again. Get over yourself.

I respect any profession in Eve and ore thieving is a profession. Hardly moronic when you spend 600k on a hauler and make more money than that in one run in ore thieving. Sounds like a good money making low skill point profession!
