UCAM has declared war on one of the LARGEST known farmer/macro corp known to us. We have 70+ targets and we will hunt them down. We have 2 or more locators among each pilot not to mention another 20+ people available not in the alliance with access to locators.
We have around 30-40 pilots, but Beatlrice has the numbers advantage. We do have a '03 player or 2 and someone is from m0o corp (Can someone give me some background on this corp?)
So in short, We hunting macros/farmers! We only ask a 2 bil ransom to take off the war dec. (only 20-25 mil from each member). I know of their status with KOS.
KOS: If you are reading this. Please don't step into our war. I had good fights with you in JV1 and various campaigns around Detorid/Tenerifis, but please for the love of Odin (God, Allah. etc whichever religion you follow, I just happen to do wiccan myself) Don't interfere.
Back to the original Message... I will post losses/kills at the end of the war.
And for that last post where I edited everything out... A great deal of members asked me to take it out... And we did around 900 mil of damage, and took about 100-200 mil of damage. I do not know the exact numbers.

Hopefully your covops skills are up to scratch and you have gravity capacitor upgrades fitted. It takes a fair bit of damage to nuke a Raven in the 2 minute no-aggro logoff timer, but it's doable. Good luck to you!

Beatlrice are indeed ISK farmers. They've had a lot of their characters leave the corp now. They were trying to get into any alliance that would give them blue standings. I had a lengthy discussion with a leader from them, as he mistakenly thought I could somehow give him access to regions of 0.0.
Basically, they have 40 players/employees that are logged in from 8am to 7pm China time. They run between 100 and 120 accounts. They fly Ravens, they fit a cloak and at least 1 WCS, usually more. They sit in just about every low traffic 0.0 system you can locate. Most are in NPC corps, many you'll see where formerly in Beatlrice. They cloak as soon as you enter a system, and minimize that client and move to the next one.
The most interesting thing I learned is that they now own a capital ship. They might be using haulers now to collect loot and bring it to the carrier for evac. Good luck hunting them, as they are very quick on the SS / Warp whenever anyone enters the system.
Also, if you stay in a system for a while forcing them to remain cloaked, they will eventually begin hurling insults to you in Mandarin.

While i like the idea of an alliance to combat macros/farmers. If you give them a way out through a ransom, then you'll just be profiting from thier farming and not stopping them in my opinion, which basically would (in that case) put you in the same boat as them in my eyes.

it looks like it's showing them how to give their hawt lewts to someone to sell. And I'm pretty sure that's mandarin chinese - why are they not on the Chinese Eve server? I thought that's why it was created, because the chinese citizens were not supposed to have access to this one.
Also, why do they have access to some of those chat rooms that they're in....
isk farming is bad.
Edit: that picture is available from their website, available by looking up their corp in game and checking out their info tab.

Pretty sure they'll just leave the corp like they did when we wardecced them, or join an alliance for larger war bills.

(changed word because i don't know if they snip for that term)
I don't know, it's a serious operation. 40 people logged in, each running 3 clients, so on average lets say they have 2 systems to themselves. That has to be close to 200m an hour, 9 hours = 1.8 per person per day. We'll round it down to 1bn per person per day. 40 computers = 40bn a day in ISK.
What I'd like to know is why CCP can't pretty easily detect what's going on. A little SQL-fu should tell you who the pilots are flying ravens, never leave a given 0.0 system. Watch where they send their money, and then track the flow of that ISK.

Thanks for the intel.
I do know that Codema is in the L1S-G1 in GW (Or my last locator said).
At last look at numbers, Beatlrice had 82 people. This was yesterday at around 20:00 (3 mins after war started). We had about 6-7 people online at the time and Codema was the only one on. We contemplated on going down there, but then we had to deal with extensive negotiations with NMTZ and the other alliance that lays claim to GW (even though it is a NPC region iirc).
Alliance CEO and I have Cov Ops, but his skills are higher then mine are...
Wait... Farmers have caps... o.0 Should be very very fun
And who said we had to stop after getting the 2b? I said we will stop the war dec... not harrassing members :P
Thanks for the support guys. We will try to do everything we can get get the farmers out of Eve...

The OP is um looks to be somewhat new to the game and dosn't think the macro corp will pay 1B. While I've never had access to a corp wardec screen I believe you have to set some amount as a surrender demand to launch a war in empire. Personally if they do pay I suggest he posts it here and on Crime & Punishment.

the characters still in beatlrice are not more than the top of the iceberg. if you go to tenerifis or upper detorid you will see ex members of said corp (we call then noobcorp-ravens) macroratting in belts. also, some are in corps which are in fact KOS. you don't even need a covops with probes to kill them, their macro warps them to random planets where you can just kill them most of the time. although they have POS, their macro does not seem to know and does not use them. some people like honkabull (we have fraps of you ctrl-qing when one other char enters system like 250 times mate) you will never catch. but it is a funny fact that he logs off, then you start your stop watch, and after exactly 5 minutes he logs on again. if you are still in local, he logs off within two seconds. then another five minutes, rinse and repeat. it is really funny to see this when afking in a recon in his ratting system. if anyone ctrl-q's we just yell on TS "omg, he did a honkabull again!"
this all yould be amusing if it wasn't for the fact that they can rat 22-23 hours when you are not in system and make ****loads of money and noone can do anything against it.
i wish you the best of luck on your war against them, and i personally won't shot you on sight when we meet somewhere in 0.0. ----------------

Edited by: Cadiz on 21/05/2007 17:48:52 Virtually of the, ah, "professional ratters" I've seen up in Tribute/Venal are ex-Beatlrice, currently in NPC corps. We try to kill them as we can - "npc corp raven moving through" in the comms channels usually stirs up a lesser lynch mob - but damn, there can be a pretty steady stream of them at times.
Good luck with the killing, and I hope they don't pay the ransom. ------ Director, No Quarter "There is no problem that cannot be solved by the judicious application of violence." |

Eh, why need to declare war on them? I have been farming them for a few weeks now. And i dont even think they are actual macros, because they get kicked when i kill them, and they respond to me and send me isk.

I honestly can't figure you BoB guys out on this one. BoB's the only folks ever to boot a corp or alliance out of their space for harboring farmers (though I must say insulting Shrike was a poor move). You're keeping tracking of who's macro ratting around. On the other hand your rental program could be called "making space safe for farmers" and some of your tenant are unabashed about their "heavy ratters". Does BoB have any formal policy on farmers?

Good move. Bad news is, is that those stinking farmers abuse the logoffski mk.II and is annoying as hell to catch. They are, however, marked as red to almost every resident entity in the area they operate.
Btw CCP needs to seriously fix the logoff bullcrap. Its even worse now that ships dissappear completely on-spot instead of warp-out and probe-able. |

Thanks for your support and comments to our post guys.
Being a diplomat for our alliance I would however like to ask here as it seems I will probably get more response about standings.
As many of you know these guys mainly operate in 0.0 and as such each time we think about hunting them we face being destroyed ourselves.
What I am asking is for you guys that support us to think about adjusting your standings to positive to us. We are on a crusade to try and do something about this "problem" and any help thrown our way would be a massive bonus. We are not aggressive to any other players except our war targets. We would not cause any trouble in your space and would of course stick to your alliances and corporations rules.
If its not possible for standings to be given then fair enough, we asked, and as I say "If you dont ask, you dont get".
If you would rather convo me in game to discuss this matter please do.
Thanks again.
