Not really come across it of late. Seems we're not scary enough for people to log out, which is fine by me.

lol. If u want ppl to fight with you - dont use blobs like 14 vs 1, and they will try to fight. But if u are too scared to fight without advantage in numbers - be prepare that ppl will log off. It's simply :)

There has been many discussions about logging of and the current penalties for doing so and they dont belong here any more, please feel able to voice you ideas about how to resolve this issue in the Features and Ideas Discussion section.

Interesting view. Thought EVE is features non-consensual pvp or like others say, you agree already to pvp by logging in.
By your definition it's fine to log out, when ever you think your odds are bad. This includes everything, logging, because you are only in a hauler, logging, because you think you think the enemy is better, logging, because you are outnumbered, logging, because you have slept badly last night ...
