I'm listening to the RealX recording, and it's making me wonder is Auras voice just some random women about the office, or is it one of them things where you can type in text and it will read it out and if it is can i get a hold of it?

It's a real woman. 
I think they modified her voice a bit to sound like a computer though, I'm not familiar with what it is they did exactly.

you'd be depressed too if you had to tell 30k folks every couple of minutes that your warp drive is active

That ain't the half of it. I'm working on a chronicle about Aura, to be published some time in the summer. There's a reason why she sounds the way she does (and I happen to like her voice, as a matter of fact).
