two point of view here:
1) As a parent, I would not mind if one of my kids decides to like girls, boys or both or whatever. They will always be my kids. I do want grandkids some day, it will hurt a bit if I can't. But in the end, my kids are my kids and I will love/accept them no matter what.
2) As a son... well my mom was always right. Every time she told me "that girl is not good for you" she turned out to be right. I'm on the third marriage because I wanted to prove my mom was wrong. So, if someday my mom start saying I like boys, I will believe her and give it a try ... moms are always right. |

If I were you, I'd just say "You know what, I'm telling you the truth. If you don't believe me, then fine, live in your fantasy world for the rest of your life." or something to that effect. I find women tend to believe what they believe to be true rather than believe someone else who knows exactly what they're talking about...

Heh...I think my mum got the impression I *might* be learning towards ***-ness, simply due to me being 21 and still never had a girlfriend, and hanging with my nerdy guy-friends all the time. Now she keeps making comments about me getting a gf, and activly encouraging me to go out more.
This RULES!!!
I say take full advantage of it! I'm sure there's all kinds of things you can get away with now. =D
