I wanted a cheesy epic battle between Pete and Sylar, and we didn't get it . --------------------------------------------------------------------

You had one in "Five Years Gone". Hehe, offscreen . But, yeah, I was dissapointed too.
All you saw in that episode was some flashing lights behind the door and a bearded Mohinder struggling with said door. Not my idea of epic nor cheesy. However, that was one of the best episodes of the series.
So at the end, when you saw that streak of blood going into the sewer, does that mean Sylar is still alive? If so, that could explain why he let Hiro stab him so easily: he had a vision of the future (Mendez's power) of himself being stabbed but surviving, so he let it happen?
Pete not flying away on his own can be explained that he was using all his power to contain the explosion.
One thing I still can't figure out though is a pretty minor detail: when Clair was hesitating to shoot Pete, she muttered something along the lines of "There has to be another way". Then Nathan whooshes down from the sky and says "Yes, there is". How could he possibly have heard what she said from all the way up there? --------------------------------------------------------------------

I do ******* love Heroes. The episode in the future was the best of the series IMO, and quite possibly my favourite episode of any TV show ever.
i dunno... the BSG season 3 finalle blew my mind.
and i wanna know y hiros dad was on that horse in the end :)
perhaps hiro's father is kensei?
Dude, you can barely see his face. How can you possibly know it's Hiro's dad? --------------------------------------------------------------------

Originally by: WredStorm What is the link between Sylar and the roach? In the last episode on the manhole cover there was a roach and when Sylar was detained and drugged by "the company" (the one Clair's dad worked for) they showed a roach crawling next to Sylar a couple of times.
In the first episode, Mohinder explains to his class that roaches are the pinicle of evolution. It's probably just some sort of artistic device.
Originally by: WredStorm Also, how did Sylar negate Hiro's power to freeze time? I'm thinking specifically of when Hiro froze time in the apartment of Sylar's mother, but I think it happened again in the final episode (can't remember for sure though).
I don't think it was Sylar that unfroze time, it was Hiro because he was still squeemish about killing someone. --------------------------------------------------------------------
