This is the best solo I can come up with. You need to dictate range, so you may need to change a Sensor booster out for a cap injector. Try it out, see how you like it. Avoid faster ships, such as the Thorax and assault frigs/interceptors.
cap would run dry pretty quick with that setup. damps suck alot of cap, not to mention the mwd while trying to dictate range.

You can pirate in any ship, these pirates are just too scared to play things on hard mode.
Off course you can, but your success will be greater with some ships then others, and why neglect a ship that offers you more potential targets and more pontential isk?

Some people like a challenge?
Well even if you pick a ship that can take on a wieder range of ships, frigs, cruisers, missile users, gun users. Im pretty sure there are still challengeing fights out there for you no matter what ship you pick.
Why limit yourself to a caracal and have a challenge with other cruisers when you can use a vexor and aim to have a challenge against battlecruisers? except for the occational fun of using an underrated ship or a ship you dont normally fly, wich I DO think is an important factor (games are about having fun afterall)

Edited by: General Coochie on 24/05/2007 00:37:30 Glad you liked, I actually thought about trying that setup for some time, but with a bit better mods. I just need alot better missile skills really. with good skills they (edit: HAMs) hit upp to 22km wich seems good thinking pirating you are limited to 20 or 24km max range.
Things with HAMs are the power they use. Even with good skills you would have about 100 power grid left to fit what ever else you need to fit, its not enough for a MWD.
However with using a AB setup as I posted above you have enough power to fit HAMs. Think I would have combined it with 3 dampners and 2 cap relays in lows. Dont know if you pirated much but the amounth of targets you catch by using a MWD instead of an AB are enough to irritate you if you are using AB..

just keep training for that titan.
The difference here is that it takes longer time training for a caracal to be effective then it takes for say a vexor or a celestis to be effective. I would also go as far as saying that 1 month training time on vexor or celestis would out perform a carcal at piracy with 6 months worth of training behind it.
When this charachter was only a few months old I had a player 1-1.5 year old in a fully T2 fitted hurricane in structure with my cruiser. It ended with him getting help from a corpy at 10% structure. I dont think the caracal would ever be able to do that.

this was at 2nd december. My char is little more then 3 months old. I dont know if Im allowed to mention the other guys name, but he was born 2005.11.08. 1year and 1month old.
How did I end up alone with him at planet? I "baited" him to follow me from a gate. He went in this fight, feeling sure of winning. It ended with him luckely escaping and killing me thanks to a corp mate of his.
As you see his drones managed to get me to structure, but I managed to pop his drones before they got me, my shields regenerated to almost 50% after that, so I was defenently winning that one. I asked him if he was fully t2 fitted, cause his drones and guns were, and he said pretty much or something like that.
