Hmm...time to make sure my laptop is ready to run teamspeak. And yeh, if they do do something stupid like adding that to the EULA, their intelligence should be in question if it already isnt.

Today is not backwards day. Bit more reliable? Oh and what about when the cluster dies like it did earlier? My teamspeak worked fine still, i bet you cant say the same about your eve voice. Lag? Teamspeak causes no lag for the game, maybe a bit on the client's end, but thats it. And its not very populated because people arent as stupid as CCP thought they were. GG CCP.

Until EVE Voice functions independently of the client, it's effectively useless. And that seems to defeat much of its purpose. Honestly, they would've been better off coding a Vent/TS frontend into the client and leaving it at that, much like Lineage II did with MSN Messenger.
Yep..its the butt of many jokes on my corp's TS too. "Hey i got disconnected" "Sure you aint using eve voice? The server just went down". And yeh, if CCP has ANY hope for eve voice..they need to make it stand alone. That is what is nice about TS2/Vent..standalone. When the EVE server goes nutso...TS isnt affected.
Oh and yeh...Another good thing...WE have FULL CONTROL on OUR TS Servers.
No matter what, people can get on. Even a few friends who were banned for (CENSOR) yeh.
What about eve voice? Nope sorry, i can no longer talk to my friends. Oh and how about friends that are NOT in the game? My sister and best friend often times hop onto the TS to BS with us for a bit. They got NO interest in EVE (and my sis is about to pop out a kid so she has no time for it frankly), but thanks to TS..we can all chitchat.
Eve Voice: A good idea implemented by brain dead monkeys.
As for what could be done to IMPROVE eve voice? Add some things to it which TS cant ever have.
(Random Ideas directly from rectum, flame as you wish).
1: When someone talks on eve voice (If they are in corp/gang/alliance), you can look at the map and see where they are in the big world. Would help with those times someone screams bloody murder for help and forget to mention where.
And im totally out of ideas...
