Today with the current situation with NVA sacked from Venal, and Venal controlled by Forsaken Empire (FE). I was told to not fire upon New Venal Alliance (NVA), members unless fired upon, it turns out that a cease fire is in operation and along the grapevine I had heard that the NVA are brokering a deal with FE.
Later on in the day after not attacking several juicy NVA ships, I talk to a member of NVA (who shall remain nameless) about what he thinks about the ôdealö. After several minutes of conversation I find the true intention of NVA and FE negotiations. To create a super alliance to control the Northern regions of the Galaxy, and wage war on surrounding alliances.
Personally I find this thought horrible, and it goes against may ideals I personally had as a FE member.
Also I feel that EPA (my ex-pirate corp (many abbreviations)) has become less of a personal and friendly pirate corp and evolved into a large corporation hungry for fleet battles and domination, and not small time pirate actions, with a soft edge as I prefer. The original abbreviation for EPA was Ex Pirates Anonymous, as they planned to do small time pirate ops and gain profit from many other lines of business. Originally when the corp was founded it did exactly that but alas it is no more. Currently EPA stands for Everlasting Power Association.
In response to these recent actions by FE and EPA, I hereby tender my resignation from EPA/FE, and plan to start an independent mining, production, PvP corp called Exile Conglomerate(FE members will be familiar with the name as I want it to be as it was before).
Also were recruiting, contact Reptar in game.

To all you EPA guys thanks for teaching me some brilliant PvP, skills and your help, most of you are great genuine blokes especially, Raymore, Redblade, Perrin, Coldcain, and WarmechJH. But Hupa although I like you a lot I feel that sometimes im being lied to, and your doing something in the background but you are without a doubt the best fleet commander in the galaxy.

You will be missed. Sorry to hear your decision. I hope you spoke to some of your other members first before making that decision.
I forgot to mention that anything discussed either true or false, will be a decision made by everyone in the FE. So Reptar your opinion would have counted. At least to me it would....

I seek them here and I seek them there ...
But I do "personally" feel that all wars "at some stage" must come to an end. To think any different would be silly.
The NVA are my enermy because they are the biggest threat to my "pirating life" and against "what I hold true" in the eve universe, the Forsaken Empire.
Once this changes, why fight ?

You mean beyond pirating them right?
TBH All wars will have to end in EVE as people get tired of fighting the same people, right Evo? Sometimes you start to like some of the people you fight. Sometimes you don't.

What would be the fun in that merger? I do not think of them as friend of foe really just someone I know we can always fight and not have to go into some channel and go ummm can we shoot so and so.

This is the first Ive heard of this as well, Sure we heard rumblings about it when we got the orders in, but who knows.
Reptar it was an honor flying with you and I hope this is just a break and you will return.
For everyone else, i think we should just keep an open mind about the possibilites and see what happens in the coming week.
I will say this, The FE is a nation bred for war, and I know the high command and regents know that a unused weapon is a useless weapon. The FE is a as a whole a Weapon, and eve is a big place filled with wars and other adventures.
I guess the only thing i can tell you reptar is good luck, and like i told everyone else, just be weary about whatever happens and be ready, we will always have action and adventure, i dont think any of us would have it any other way.
War never ends, it is apart of human nature, only the names and faces change. If the FE/NVA war ends, well id welcome it, or at least give it a long hard try at the very least.
IF whatever happens and is fruitful and the north knows peace cool, If not, oh well.
Either way tons of fun awaits us on foriegn and domestic battle fields.

However, we can confirm that there is currently a state of "cease-fire" between our two forces. The duration and details of this cease fire are confidential but we ask that all parties involved respect this brief respit in our long conflict.

ah, who knows if its over, or i just have to let my missiles cool off for a bit. I may return depending on the political situations that arrise, but i need to earn more isk so i have a steady flow of ships/missiles/isk. Although i will be breaking from the pirating "scene" for a bit, who knows what happens.
