Going to start this post by making it clear I do not care about bob, and the only bob i know lives down the street!
This afternoon I jumped my Archon into Jan (Lonetrek), and put some shield maintenance bots on a kestrel to keep it alive during its cynofield generation, a d2 thanatos undocked and started to attack my Archon, closely followed by a chimera and Nyx, then a nighthawk and finally a phoenix dread. I sat there tanking away, ignoring them, until the kestrel docked and after a while i docked too.
After a few minutes of feeling pleased with my tank, i undocked in a shuttles and headed for Autaris (next door 0.5 system), after warping to the gate i was hit by a smartbomb once (guess they positioned their carrier wrong) and jumped. This got me thinking:
Why are d2 here?
Have they given up on holding space?
Can they hit the side of a barn 2 inches away? 
D2 have been in this area for about a month now.

One smartbomb won't kill a shuttle try it.
Depends on the setup, if shuttle is fitted for gank, tank or nano 
Mine was definitely setup for tank - I had a civilian armor repairer in the cargo hold

Umm no, I said a D2 Thanatos undocked - Nyx's and other motherships cannot dock, no super capital can.....
Seems to me that COAD section of the forums is like Chinese whispers, First person says it was blue, several people later claim it was red!

How exactly did a nyx undock?
and how did you manage to tank 2 carriers, a MS, and a dread? That's prlly a lot more dps than even an archon can tank.
I never said the nyx undocked, i said a thanatos did, then i was attacked by a chimera, then nyx etc - never said they undocked, only attacked
Tanking: Simple, 2 capital armor repairers (1 in manual fire) make all the difference, plus when i docked i had over 60% armor left
