Set Destination clears your route and sets a single destination. I get this.
Add Waypoint means to me "Add this spot somewhere in the middle" but it currently really is "Keep route, add new destination to end." I wish the current verbiage to be an automatic optimize route with this in the middle and a new option that reads "Add Destination" which adds the location to the end of the current route.
While we're at it, I want only 1 thing to be yellow in my overview, the next place I'm going. If it is a station, highlight that. If it is a star gate, make that yellow. I do NOT want to see two or more yellow gates. I DO want to see a mid-route yellow station. For some reason only the last one is yellow currently. |

Then right click on a waypoint and remove it. Really it isn't that hard. |

actually i do not see the problem with "add waypoint" adding the waypoint to the end. you can optimize if desired afterwards. maybe you would like to see a new command "make waypoint"?

I want three options:
Set Destination - as it currently is.
Add Waypoint - add the location to the middle (optimzed) of the current route.
Add Destination - adds the location to the end of the route. (As Add Waypoint currently does.)
The definition of Waypoint and what it does do not agree with what it says. |

although you might be right, changing semantics is usually heavily considered and seldomly happens...

The current commands to set waypoints are fine but there could be some modifications to optimizing waypoints. Since it might be critical to reach certain waypoints before others it could be made to enforce that. Also certain avoid settings could be obseved one way and not the other as they may be for a full ship but not an empty one. |
