General question to PvP characters. How do you make the isk needed to support your PvP play? I like the PvP part of the game, but am curious on the best way to make isk to pay for ship and module losses and upgrades etc. Is getting an alt the answer? Production alt? Mining alt? etc. Lets hear some of your methods for supporting your combat character.

The answer is all the above really.
But most RAT for cash in 0.0
And Ratting rules is probably one the most argued over topics in any 0.0 Corp or alliance.

My PVP is pretty much 100% funded by PVP.
I haven't killed a rat for isk in um, at least 4 months.

if your on a good streak, you dont have to rat, but as soon as things turn sour (lose 1 or 2 good ships), always find yourself trying to chain NPC's :(
though in a good system you can make quite alot of money ratting if you have the time and persistance

L4 missions.
Sell everything thats going for 50k or more, reprocess all the crap loot. The reprocessed materials go towards making new ships / ammo / cap boosters 
My opinion is my own, not of my corp or my alliance. If you have problems, we can have a "who can do L4 missions faster" duel >:) |

all the ratting mining and plexing i do goes to corp and they give me things to blow people up with=) so i dont care when the corp tax goes to 100%

PvP fuels itself with isk rather nicely - if you are decent at it...
I made my last 4bil or so from pvp, while ofcourse, I could have ratted/traded/whatever the 4bil in a much smaller timeframe, doing it by PVP alone is fun.

I'd say about half small time scamming , half ransoms / loot sale. Plus the occasional bit of trading (but with no alt  )

I trade..
the easiest way to make isk is to check buy and sell orders in different regions..
Cap 800's is normally a good buy , take a few jumps and sell there is often a 100% mark up.
also take one races ships/modules to another races hub..
e.g buy Caldari in Caldari space, take to Gallente space, buy Gallante take to Caldari, looking to see what is available in each area and the buy orders is is very easy to see whare easy money is to be made.
On the day T3 BC's were launched I made over 500 mill in a couple of hours buying drakes for silly money in Caldari space taking them a few jumps and selling for bloody ridiculous money in amarr space.
Its al about watching the market and getting in first when an opportunity arises

A good question. I hardly ever pvp on my own, im usualy with corp friends or fleet ops. I usualy find i never get much isk from pvp as most goes back to alliance ect. Most my money comes from 0.0 ratting :)

Depends on my mood
1. T2 prints. Might sell some for personal isk, might give some to corp for corp isk. Depends on how skint I am
2. 0.0 ratting. I enjoy going deep into someone elses territory and ratting for a 3-4 days salvaging as I go so I can get a ton of rig components for the corp and make isk for myself
3. L4 pirate missions. Snake implants... yum
I never really sell pvp loot. If I can't use it it goes to the corp. If I can then I keep it. I'm a pack rat really.

Alt in neutral corp, selling T2 material in Empire, produced by friends.
I'm only interested in PvP right now, so Lvl 4 take too long, and Farming is just too boring

Also, I trade, rat, run the occasional mission, and if I'm too tired to do anything meaningful, I mine.
(EDIT: Oh yeah, most of the time, my PVP activities run at a profit, too.)

Pretty random, I dont make isk in any usual set pattern kinda way. Robbin peoplez, trading, random "investments" >> and of course general looting (Havnt had a ransom in ages though tbh) kill a tiny amount of rats when im bored guess that covers an odd loss here or there.
Plus im careful bout keepin my losses to a mininum (isk wise not really ship wise  ) dont fly too big ships, biggest loss in ages was a t2 Ruppy tonight but dam good fight and well worth it.
