The real damning thing of all is that Goonfleet members went and spread this across the internet at the time of it's posting on the forums. You know it's goonfleet, since most of the internet sources posted to SAY right that explicitly right on the article (such as Digg's)
That goes way above and beyond the 'in game, make sure things are legit' claim that some suggest. By making this a media circus immediately, it basically declares CCP guilty by verdict of mob law, without the facts actually even being looked into.
Hardly the actions of 'internet spaceship pew pewers'. What's been done is despicably vile.
And who pray tell would be looking into these accusations. Oh! the very same people accused. Is that not like the fox guarding the chicken coop. Of course CCP is going to say EVE is fair and no wrong doing took place...EVE is their cash cow the dont want to kill it. The fact of the matter is that CCP has been proven to be untrustworthy on its most basic level. And when more allegations are brought forth and we see more efforts to cover them up followed by very well organized and orchestrated forum onslaught by the side they are accused of helping we cannot help but be suspicious of not only CCP's motives but those of the side it has been proven has garnered their special favors.

Please, then do tell me how on earth Goonswarm is a more suitable judge of their truthfulness? Or the court of public opinion? The first is an aggrieved party percieving wrongs against them.
How can you suspect people defending CCP of doing so 'because they are getting favors'? How about because it is more likely that one party has delivered all this drama specifically to attack the company instead of the issues at hand? Why else would DS1 wait three weeks to put up this drama instead of immediately after it was found?
The last time ANY sort of problem happened, it was investigated, then the person who did it was revealed to the public and an apology was issued, an assurance that no more issues would happen, AND it wasn't even a company policy, just one person ditching his crap into the corp hangar.
Before you accuse those against you of tinfoil conspiring, look at yourself and how paranoid those arguments sound that you're putting out about some horrible Bo(D) Conspiracy.
Lets take your "ahem" arguements one at a time shall we.
1) I never stated who was a better judge of their truthfullness I merely stated that CCP has proven time and time again they cannot be trusted.
2) How can i suspect people of being biased because they have gotten favors. Uhm maybe because it has been PROVEN they got favors.
3) I really dont know why they waited three weeks prolly the same reason CCP waited 6 m onths to remove the BPOs. You would really have to ask them.
4) The last time ANYTHING we know about happened it took an action just like this one to bring it to light. If not foe these actions you and your BOB fiends would still be able to sit around and insult those who thought that there were Devs in BOB dishing out favors.
5) In isnt paranoia if its proven to be true (which it has)
