I'm curious in what you would like to see in a next update. Support for Titan's jumpportal generator? Support for the upcoming starbase structure "Jump Towers" (Rev 2)? Or something with a cynonet of Cynosural Field Generators (Rev 2)? See this devblog. Or perhaps something with using the sovereignty that the IGB sends (or a selectable preference) and try to plan a route though YOUR space?
(All this are just wild idea's, no clue yet on what kind of impact it will have on the system)

This is a great service and I've used it plenty of times...
But couldnt this be used for intel gathering and early warning of capital fleet movements?
Since you enter your start and end point it really wouldnt take a lot of skill to figure who is about to attack whom.
Is the data secure?
You yourself are a member of RATEL Alliance, whats stopping you looking at movements into your space or your allies?
Just some thoughts

You are assuming we have any of the above. :)
And even when we did, I don't think that idea was voiced by a single person, least of all Elissen. He has put way to much work into it, to risk any such rumors and allegations (hmmm..where have I... ).
it is a valid concern of course. But I guess thats where you just have to trust the guy or not use the system. It CAN be done with a calculator and pen and paper. :)

I've been playing EVE since launch. I've been running the Jumpplanner for over a year and a half. Do you honestly believe I would sacrifice my honesty and dignity for something like this? No way. No matter what alliance I am in, I will not disclose the usage data of the Jumpplanner to other players. I'm *only* tracking statistical data like number of routes plotted and cache efficiency. The webserver accesslogs does contain that data, but only AWStats is reading those files (and AWStats ignores the params thus you can not see that in the stats package).
And there are only two people who have access to the server, me and my good friend Shard (and the support team of the hoster, but they have way more interesting data at other servers).
If you know Shard, he's an awesome person, best friend you can have, but he doesn't know that much about computers. He does have the login with instructions to type in "reboot" when things go haywire when I'm not around.
And if you knew you me, you would not even dare to suggest since I find it insulting.
But then again, your the one here posting without a corp ticker or alliance. Got something to hide?

Jump Planner is the single most useful tool I have encoutered out of game since I started playing (Sorry Chribba, Eve-search roxors as well ofc) Thanks for all your hard work in making V2 even more lovely, station systems 4tw :D
Carlsberg dont make Eve Pilots, but if they did, i wouldnt be one of them.

Every other user-made tool is simply helpful in the game, but you quite literally can't fly a cap ship without the Jump Planner. By far it's the most important user-made tool out there. Thanks Elissen.

If anyone can ever find any shred of impropriety on Eli's part I'll send you a check for 100 dollars USD. Send me the proof and the cash is yours, it won't ever happen though so its a safe bet for me.

Superb tool. Thank you for your hard work in creating and improving this invaluable asset.
IMHO CCP would garner some much needed community kudos by rewarding people who create/manage such popular tools (e.g. this, evefiles and the evemap come to mind) in some fashion, as they are actualy making the game more attractive, and more playable.
Perhaps look at incorporating some of the better tools in game?

Excellent work, but now the question remains. Why do people from the community need to make such tools? It's plain and obvious that if you want to fly your cap ship thorugh EVE that you need a jump planner tool. And I don't understand why this tool isn't provided by CCP themselves. 
Still great work and thanks for making an improved version!!!!!

Elissen's integrity is untouchable. Trust me, you have absolutely nothing to worry about here. He codes these projects from the ground up with security in mind. This issue was raised within Ratel by one member which lasted perhaps 2 seconds.
