You know, it's funny, but since the "drama bomb" and the lame attempt of "we have the petition but it's private" (though the EULA says that there is NO PRIVACY for IN GAME communications) of covering up, I've, like the original poster, have had those Eve existential doubts.
The petitions fall under a separate rule IIRC. They're not in-game communications; they go through the support system.
Additionally, the "no privacy" means that CCP can look at it, not that they can publish it for all to see, AFAIK.
that is correct, but the CEO has the right to know privately what petition is about of his POS. The priavcy only holds true between CCP and any individual not if that individual making petition on behave of the corp - we all know well that any corp's member can not make any changes to the POS if he/she does not has a role/represent for it.
The allegation currently looks like this 1. someone make a petition on hehave of an entity (this corp) 2. this entity turns around and accuse CCP of wrong doing when CCP responded to the request for help. 3. CCP said we cant reveal who make the petition about the POS to the CEO to prove that they act properly b/c of privacy violation. However, CCP asked that we just trust their words for it. If you take this case to any court in the world (except CC = communist court ) who would fault CCP for proving themselve?
The only two possibilities i see is that 1. someone honestly make a petition individually that happen related to POS's functionality like you use your BPO on corp's lab, and it is stuck etc... 2. the other possibility is that CCP using privacy violation to hide the facts of GM wrong doings. Shardbait did behave professionally like this
In my opinion recent Kieron's statement is ONLY 90% fact until he can confirm that -the alleged GM does not have access right to delete any entry from DB
As for the MSN chat allegation, i dont give a hood - it is based on he says/she say until someone at least give a screen shot/chat log of when that incident happen. Then i will change my mind, but right now if you guys enrage for just an wild allegation, you wont enjoy the game.
